I absolutely love mine! It’s just perfect for everything! Indoor, outdoor, jumps, dirt, small gravel, grass, everything! It’s just so perfect I can’t explain my love to it lol. Nice vid bro
You know about the dual rates? For the steering and throttle, you hold the steering left or right then push and hold the steering trim and you can change how much the steering throw is, and with the throttle pick up the car, hold full throttle and push and hold either + or - and you can raise or lower the max speed
Nice, that 2 in one brushless motor & ESC. Is a big improvement👍🏻😎
Just ordered my mini t 2.0 now that they came back in stock! I am probably going to put brushless in it.
You can order it with the brushless system for $199.99 I think it’s a better deal to order with the brushless system.
cool comparison. I just started running this mini myself. Definitely a fun little car. 🏎💨💯
Thanks
Good comparison! Helped mi a lot! :) keep on going!
Steve...thanks for doing this comparison video! If I use the included charger how long would it take to charge the battery? Thanks and subbed😎🇺🇸
I never timed it but a good 30-45 min
I think in my option 30 Mph be more then fast enough. I made my Cc-01 UniMog 425 go 34 mph with Tekin RSX pro and Spec R gen 4 13.5 T motor with Reedy 2S 7.4 battery. Stock gearing and rc that small. Like i said is good enough.
I always remembered having bald tires . They’d last a few charges
Hey just order the brushed. I'm hoping all the old bodies I have for my old back in the day mini t fit.
Maybe but it looks a bit longer than the 1.0
My LHS is getting a shipment of brushless mini ts in today, they also have an old school color scheme to them..headin there after work to pick one up
I saw those, they cool cool
@@StevenGilbert88 yea i love the color scheme on them..sellin for 199 said they only getting 4 or 5 so hope to get one..
Looks like they come with an 800mah 50c lipo, i wonder if that brushless motor would even benefit from those extra amps available
@@StevenGilbert88 yea interesting, will find out.
@@StevenGilbert88 i think the 40th anniversary 2.0 came with 650 mah and 20c, interesting
What KV size motor/esc combo did u use ?
These little cars have been around for years. The upgraded version is much better. The brushless system is a lot better wow. Never seen one of these get past 18mph lol. Nice.👍
I got a 7000kv for 1/18 that should fit. Do u suggest me to buy the brushed or brushless version? Anyway i ll put my combo so i tought brushed would make it cheaper! What do u think man? Pls help!
I have wanted to get one of these for a bit now, and I think I’m sold on the brushless one. My slash 4x4 will hit 37mph on a 2s lipo, and I’m too scared to put a tracker in it on a 3s. The slash just goes too damn quick for me, fast enough that it flips over backwards from air getting in the body. Maybe I have it geared too high. But anyways, I’ll have to pick one of these little guys up. It looks fun for like dirt jumping and stuff. Their 2wd correct? Are they waterproof?
They really are track built cars but people bash them anyway I wouldn't call them waterproof
What’s the best servo to upgrade to from the junk sx107 Servo that it comes with?
Definitely a junk servo but if you get the aluminum servo horn and tune the camber and toe it can get pretty decent and straight
So I’ve seen a few videos already of the stock controller being adjusted at 75% of full throttle from the factory. I think the mini t vs b was 18 and 19 mph with a 1mph difference between them. I’m sure your brushes might even be faster if you haven’t played with those adjustments.
yeah i made sure it was max throttle from the get go, when i heard about that i checked it and I was not at 75% from factory
for the brushless, its on a DX5 radio so im very sure its full throttle
@@StevenGilbert88 was the brushed set to max aswell?
@@mojojoji5493 well yeah
@@StevenGilbert88 well good to know
Which brushless motor did you get? Is it easy to install? Do you need to solder anything or trim wires or something? I'm getting a mini t as my first hobby rc car but I'm extremely unfamiliar with building things. I'd like to upgrade the motor for sure because 13 mph wont cut it stock.
If you look at the Horizon Hobby website for this car under the option section you will see the 2 in 1 ESC and motor
@@StevenGilbert88 Do I need any other parts or tools to install it or is it just plug and play?
@@TheDigitalPanther u will you lose the receiver and have to get a new one
@@StevenGilbert88 Thanks!
Are you using the stock transmitter for the brushless system? If so, which one?
Don't you love it when they don't respond to simple questions
He has a entry level Spektrum radio by looking at the receiver he laid on the side. If you looking to move away from the stock transmitter look at the DX5 it has almost all the setting you’d ever need in a RC radio and won’t hit your wallet as hard as the DX6R (which) is now discontinued anyways. I’m a radio snob and always get the latest Spektrum radio so if you need any help lmk. Name is the same on FB and profile picture is also. I run the Spektrum users group everyone will be glad to help ya.
He’s probably occupied with more important things than answering comments so I understand.
I just NEVER saw this comment so sorry and yes im using a DX5 rugged on the brushless set up,
FYI i run 3 youtube channels, this one isnt my biggest one anymore so I spend more time in the others
Steven Gilbert RC its no problem man i understand there are more important things than rc cars 😂😂
All gear inside are plastic right?
Can you share the specs of the brushless motor you used? Or a link?
here ya go

@@StevenGilbert88 did you need to upgrade anything else or just that
i reccomend you to not charge batteries inside of your rc car. in case of a fire you would lose the whole car ive had it happen with my summit with gens ace batteries
I'm very aware, its a pain to get the battery in and out due to the servo wire placement in the brushless at least so its a risk that I'm aware of.
@@StevenGilbert88 i wish i could send you a pic of my set up. but i do understand the battery placement problems. but hey i do greatly appreciate your responce. subbed
My guy lives in the nicest suburb lmfao
I don't know if this was supposed to be an insult but actually that was a temporary living situation. And honestly I couldn't stand the rich fucking snobs
Steven gilbert rc whats a better lithium battery for the mini t 2.0??? i just got a mini t today and want some speed from it i like being water proof
battery is fine stock, just upgrade to brushless
@@StevenGilbert88 whats a good brushless system that is water proof and work good with the gear case and radio that came with the truck is want to spend 50 or under later on down the road
A faster is better but for minis don't care. LOVE THE MINI T ANYWAY
What’s bigger in physical size in person, the erevo 1/16 or the Losi mini T? Any one have first hand experience in person with both models? Curious about the actual size difference in person.
they are the same size
I have the e revo 1/16 and the mini T. They are almost the same size but the e revo is a lot more bulky. Has a lot more weight to it.
steven Gilbert rc how do you like the mini t 2.0???
Brushless motor and brushless esc
Would I need anything else beside the brushless motor?
The motor is a 2 in 1 with the esc built in, u just need a receiver
What batteries are you running?
Stock
@@StevenGilbert88 do you know if the dynamite 6000kv can be rebuild?
Can you run a 3 cell in the brushless one?
You can do anything once
No u will probably fry it
What brushless system is that?...
The optional one that Horizon Hobby sells is a dynamite 2 in 1 ESC and motor
@@StevenGilbert88 do u know a good brushless system for 1/16 traxxas slash
@@allios-5977 if you gear it right it should be fine, but it's 2s only
How much is it and how wide is the shaft
Did you have to replace the radio on the brushless swap? Thinking of getting the same 2-1 motor esc
What do I need to buy to make mine brushless?
open the motor up and remove the brushes inside
True story
@@asilk1034 lol
Excited over 24mph for brushless? It's 2020 and that was slooooow... My Losi Micro SCT brushless did 32mph clocked with a speed gun. That was the 1/24th scale Micro back in 2013...
This was just a comparison test between stock brushed and the brushless system you can put in it obviously anybody else can put a different system in it and make it go faster
Yeashhh just chill there good little cars
Less breaking with less speed.
