Glad you had someone there to help you clean up the property. Going back to the house of someone you cared about can be difficult. Because of the memories it brings back of those loved ones. You relive all your childhood memories with your Grandparents. Both the good and the bad. And how they taught you so many things. And much of it will come back to you as you go through the process of renovation. Then wanting to make changes in order to make the property fit you and what you want it to be, to fit your needs. I have done that. And cried a few times a long the way in missing them. Hope every thing goes well for you. There is peace living in the country and healing. For your spirit. Best wishes for you and your family. Now you can make memories or your own there with those you love.

When spreading cement on brick walls, you need to wet the bricks in order for the cement to stick to brick, otherwise it will take more effort for it to stay
