it was all growing lush and healthy but when i saw some insect bite spots on the leaves, i sprayed some dettol and the next day all the leaves got withered unfortunately...i learnt a nice lesson..!!!

I do have this white worms or slugs I am not sure, according to me I think they are eating up the roots from within and I have tried several methods to get rid of them, nothing seems to work. Can you suggest something in order to get rid of them? Thank you once again! :)
Seeing this video after removing my tulsi plant from roots it was whole attacked by these black bugs and and ants . I'm so devastated but know I'll regrow with full care
We have a lot of Tulasi 10-15, recently their leaves have started to shrink and swivel, even in between of the leaf it shrinks deforming the leaf, with some leaves having hole after becoming like a sieve/jaali
Few of them had the black insects as you showed and black dots behind them, but not all who are showing these symptoms

How much sunlight does the Tulsi plant needs ,as I have kept my Tulsi plant is kept in the balcony & it only gets sunlight only for 1.30-2 hours ,so every time its leafs get yellow & some plants die in 3-4 months, any suggestion will be helpful
6-8 hours of sunlight is required in winter. But in this summer, morning sunlight is enough.
Maam, my tulsi plant has white like insects all around ... I am so worried by seeing that... PlZ tell me any remedy which helps to get rid and can make sure that remedy wont affect my tulsi 's essential flavor ..

Leaves are falling off without becoming yellow. It is not even big in size. Since the soil still was pretty damp I decided not to water it yesterday. Today 3 leaves have fallen off - for context, it only has around 30 leaves left. If you say it is due to underwatering, I was watering it almost everyday and it was receiving around 3 hours of direct sunlight and was in indirect sunlight, followed by shade. I'm really not sure what is it that is wrong. And if I am doing something wrong then how did it survive for 2 months?
Tulsi needs 5-6 hours of sunlight everyday...Let the top soil dry before watering...never water while soil is damp....aerate the soil and put some compost...I think pruning/pinching is required...check both sides of the leaves whether any pest infestation is there.

Mealybugs occured on my tulsi plant..I have sprayed neem oil... mealybugs have removed but the growth of tulsi is detiorating..leaves are turning black and falling..please suggest what can be done
Did you by chance add a lot of neem oil? If no, add vermi compost once a month and do check for drainage hole blockage, it could be the problem of rotting roots

I didn't add lot of neem oil and drainage is also good but yes after mealybugs I can see white few very tiny spots on leaves..those leaves are turning black and then falling down

Agar aapki well draining soil hai, aur drainage holes khule hain toh koi problem nahin hogi... Extra water drainage holes se nikal jaayega... Neeche se drainage trays sabhi plants ki monsoon mein hata deni chahiye aur pot agar zameen se thoda upar yaani stand par ho toh better rehta hai.

Ma'am I propagated a new tulsi plant in water 20 days ago.. It developed roots very well but as soon as i planted it in mud pot last week, the leaves started turning yellow slowly and now all the leaves have fallen off. Please suggest something to revive it again according to the climate of Delhi. I have kept the plant in indirect sunlight
Small saplings should be planted in small pots. If u have planted in a bigger pot, it will probably not survive. Don't overwater. All the best 🌿

I live in a place where sunlight is almost 0 during winters. How do I take care of my plant. My leaves r turning yellow and falling. The stems r also turning brown from green.
Tulsi plant needs 5-6 hours of sunlight daily.. Please try to keep somewhere it will get at least 2-3 hours of sunlight.
@@bloominghome6947 there is not chance of sunlight where I live from November to March. The temperature is zero to sub zero. I have moved my tulsi pot to my kitchen but still leaves are turning yellow and falling.
Tulsi is a very delicate plant.. It will be very difficult for this plant to survive without sunlight.

6500k led light is easy to get.
You need artificial light on such climates
Also make sure the temperature is at least 10° Celsius.

Some of my new leaves are turning white, not even yellow.
Moreover I can see a lot of worms, idk their name...they are brownish in colour and cylindrical in shape. I have sprayed insecticide a lot of times i guess the insecticide is inorganic not sure about it. Although the worms are coming again and again.

Small green grasshopper like insects are eating away the leaves of tulsi. When I tried neem oil, the plants started shedding their leaves, but did not get rid of the insects. Any solution to this problem?
