Hey Cassandra! I actually work for Charlotte Tilbury as a freelancer in Sephora’s, and the duo set is full size products! It’s actually valued at $150! The pillow talk set is also a full size lipstick ($35) and the rest minis! Just thought you should know!
*Thank you* for giving a credit where credit is due, despite the fact the brands/products do not resonate with your personal preference/values (f.e. cruelty free). Waaaay too often I see and hear influencers be like "eww, fragrance, that product must be shit, cannot recommend" 🙄
Even if the product is good, fragrance is a complete dealbreaker for me and many other people. I don't enjoy itchy rashes on my face and body. It's not just because of influencers.
@itsjustcristian @20thcenturyrelic ...and I respect your condition and choices you have to make, yet there are also lucky people who tolerate (and dare I say even enjoy) fragrance in the products they use. Those people appreciate unbiased review of the product, not just products being demonized and called for simply containing fragrance ❤
@@MyBlackSheepI definitely agree with this. I think of hyram since he always gets so mad over fragrance because “it blocks off so many opportunities for people with sensitive skin” like not every product is for every person or every skin type. People like fragrance, and that’s fine. Though I do personally have very sensitive skin and stay away from any fragrance I think it’s dumb to freak out of over fragrance being in anything
You can't pick a bone because it's not vegan 😆🤣😆🤣😆 This video was so much fun! Hope you're feeling happy, Cassandra. Happy New Year to you and the whole community ❤❤❤
SK-11 is amazing. Keeps my face clear and glowing. If used consistently, you'll notice the healing powers. I am not someone who has to have expensive skin care. I hate how expensive it is. But it is literally the best essence I have ever tried.
Hey Cassandra, you did a few mistakes in video, belif set has a full size moisturiser and same goes to the YTTP set, it also had full size 59ml moisturiser. Also Olehenriksen has 2 full size products one eye cream and 1 moisturiser. So before firing them look into their sizes all 3 are a very good value!
Brands could have gone holiday jumbo size edition for their best sellers to be honest. Like Paula's Choice could have released a 300ml sized toners for their regular price, for example.
Beware of the glow recipe products: I was using the pink juice moisturizer and the strawberry serum and it broke me out in terrible hormonal acne and I’m still working to get rid of it
I'm not sure from your comment as to exactly which of their products you reacted to. But I can say that all of the Glow Recipe products I've looked at are fragranced. Possibly what you reacted to was the fragrance in the products. It might be wise for you to read ingredients lists and avoid fragrance.
Late to the party and that lancome one is wild, last year my sister got me a kit that was 4 full sized products for $85 or something, under $100 for sure. Tbh I liked it but I wouldn't buy it myself
Aging is amazing...at 44, I feel so much more sure about myself and see the BS so much more easily l. Sometimes, I wish I could go back in time and be the friend that my younger self needed. Also, in my 20s and early 30s, use a sunscreen every day and not just a moisturizer with SPF 15 or 30.😊
i‘ve been using Biossance and Farmacy since a couple of months ago, it works really well on my skin. I've tried so many products and brands before, a lot of expensive ones were just a waste of money
11:14 Recently I heard by a skincare expert how with Peptides, you cannot get away with going cheap. Peptides by the Otdinary, sit on top of skin, yet cannot be absorbed by 10:07 the skin. She specifically called out Ordinary's Peptide formulas.
Sadly some ingredients need extra formulation science to make it work, which increases the price. That being said the ordinary buffet is the only peptide product I used from them and it is a nice hydrating serum 🤷🏻♀️😊
What were the qualifications of this "skincare expert"? Was she a cosmetic chemist or dermatologist? If not, I'd be very skeptical about this information and anything else she said. Does she have her own skincare line that she recommended instead? Or does she have a contract to promote another brand? I wouldn't be surprised.

Supergoop products are so different from one another that you're almost better off buying the 1 mini of the product that you think will work best for you based on glow / matte / invisible! Or maybe get the set and gift the others ✨
Honestly I don't see the appeal of paying a bunch of money for a few mini "luxury" products that would most likely not even last 2-3 months to see the effect of it cause I'd def would never rebuy them in my sane mind
Not sephora, but Estee Lauder's $85 gift set is awesome. You get 11 full-size products (I'm keeping most of the makeup and giving my mom the full size- advanced night repair serum, cleanser, gel eye creme, and moisturizer. Total for those alone would be serum $20-$240 cleanser $35, eye creme $72, moisturizer $29-$128 so possibly $475) but DEFINITELY skip the sephora set lol
I did this comment before but I will do it again 😂 Dr Jart+ was established by a man who worked for a construction supervision company because he got hooked on BB creams and he did work with a dermatologist, this inspired the name and ethos of Dr Jart+ (Doctor Joins Art)
Love your videos Cassandra! Just wanted to tell you that Laneige is pronounced as la-neij not la-naj, it's French for snow and the company made a TikTok about the correct pronunciation.
No!! I wouldn't go for a targeted one like acne or dark spots one, unless you are sure it's what they want, but one with a nice moisturizer and cleanser makes a lovely gift IMO.
❤❤❤❤ Dr Barbara also has lot of delux and full size products it could be worth it for some one who wants to try the brand and doesn't want to pay full size prices for all of them ❤❤❤❤❤
Animal testing and non animal derived ingredients is not my priority, but I agree that the SK2 essence is meh. It was not that hydrating or moisturizing when I tried it, nor did I see any major brightening effect after using like two bottles of it. I saw better result from a now discontinued cherry blossom toner from Nature Republic.
I got a mini purple Tatcha set for free for my birthday present from Sephora, and I actually liked it! Liked it enough to purchase the full sized? Nope! LOL 😅🤐 The Glow Recipe lip balm actually gave me angular cheilitis! Any lip products with hyaluronic acid does this to me! 😢
I love all about you and your conten,t but can you please show us some alternatives to the ordinary products? I think that's important that the products we are using are truly cruelty free and not just vegan or not tested on animals . ❤
I am not a huge fan of the paula's choice 2% bha liquid exfoliant, but that thing is great for blackheads and minor whiteheads and a little goes a long way. PC knows it has loyal customers and that its price is still on the affordable side for those who has money to spare, so it looks like they did not bother much with their kit 😂😂😂
There is no reason to think a recession is looming and I am sick of influencers pretending they know. I also don't know shit about the economy, but that also means I have no idea if a recession is looming and neither do you. It is fear mongering tbh.
I know I am commenting a lot, but we gotta chill with those aztec clay masks. Just mix some water and glycerin and it becomes a decent face and body mask.

To be fair, it turns a lot of people were having bad reaction to fragranced products but you can blame the fragrance demonizing online to hyram 😂
