Questions.... i have a 3-4 ft high pygmy date palm that had 4 trunks, 1 trunk has died so now there is 3. Well, I would like to remove the palm from my backyard and plant it in my front yard. It's been in the ground for maybe 3 or 4 years. Could it survive the transplant? The largest trunk is now producing a seed pod... can I dig it up and transplant it during that seeding pod time? Im in so cal, our weather here is very hot, summer is approaching and im wondering if i should do this now before the triple digits arrive, which they should be arriving very soon. And should I remove the dead trunk from the palms? Thanks in advance.
So easy to do! Thank you!
I cannot reach my high ones, they look awful when they pod. I was able to pull the little ones as long as I cut away the branch under them.
They actually pull out even easier if you navigate them thru the branches and then pull them straight down.
I figured that out a little later myself. Thanks for the info for everyone.
@@therangeproteeguy7842 Thank you for your time in making the videos.

Sorry, I just figured out how to get those seed pods off. Other than that I don't know a lot about Pygmy Palms.
