These look like they belong right on the set of Harry Potter! I love that you used pretty simple cheap things that most crafters or artists have around the house already!
You got Chop sticks and toilet paper and made wands...that's more magic than anything that has come out of the movies. I was looking for a quick DIY fix to go with my daughters costume and this might be the ticket. Thank you!
I thought from the thumbnail you used a peanut she'll for tons wand & thought how clever haha! They're still all awesome. All your harry potter videos blew me out of the water!
These are awesome! I'm going to attempt to make the Harry Potter wand using your tutorial. Question if you don't mind me asking...Around the 2:46 mark, are you using sandpaper to remove the glued toilet paper? I was curious if you left the toilet paper on or if you only applied it with the glue to give those streaks and then removed it (after it dried) with the sandpaper? Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!😊 I applied the toilet paper to add texture and tie everything together. I left the toilet paper on. I sanded it very lightly (after it dried) to smooth out the rough edges.
Very nice indeed, love the way you use other items to form the wands, but love your paint blending, it's just amazing... thank you for sharing and I make all my wands with only wood but seeing this, gave me easier ideas so thank you again...!! Also for showing the paint blending techniques...!!!! The wands are amazing and just started to watch so... AMAZING!!! Also from Canada too. so yes!!
Thank you for this! My gf is gonna lover her christmas presents;) I just finished the hot glue and am about to use the tp and white glue. A little confused what you're running on/with after using the white glue. Almost looks like wet sanding but i feel like that would rip the tissue off..
@SuperCraftyListic thanks for replying! I kind of made my way there! I took the handle of my and ran it gently across to smooth the middle part between the handle and end tip part. I was worried about taking any texture away from the handle. Should turn out okay still! It's drying now before i airbrush my primer on there. Thanks again! Ps. Im waiting until i go back to the store and get DAS brand to make the other one. I got the cheap kind for $4, and now, after reading some comments, im worried it'll crack on me..
@nomomsnorules2804 Awesome! Sounds like it's coming along great. Air-dry clay tends to crack when drying, but DAS rarely does. Excited to hear how it turns out!
Your art is absolutely mind blowing. I still can't get over the Nimbus 2000 video. I've managed to make 2 out of the three, still struggling with the Hermione Granger one. The Das material won't stick to the wood, any tips?
Maybe the clay is too dry. Add a litle bit of water to moist and soften the clay and to join the pieces. Keep the clay sealed in a bag to prevent it from drying. Hope this helps!
I just found your channel , and I’m absolutely astonished at your talent and creativity 😍😍😍 , I’m considering making some of these wands for myself now . I was wondering though if I could use air dry clay for Harry’s wand as well though ? Or if you tried that and it wasn’t that good?
Yes, you can definitely use air-dry clay for Harry’s wand as well. I was just experimenting with different materials. I recommend using DAS Modelling Clay because it doesn’t crack when it dries.
Harry Potter's wand was 11" long, made of holly, and possessed a phoenix feather core. This was described by Garrick Ollivander to be an unusual combination of wand core and wood. The feather was donated by Fawkes, Albus Dumbledore's phoenix. Ronald Weasley's second wand was 14" long, made of willow and had a core of unicorn hair. The wand was manufactured by Garrick Ollivander. This wand seemed to suit Ron better than his first wand, which he had inherited from his older brother Charlie. Hermione Granger's wand was 10¾" long, made of vine wood, and possessed a dragon heartstring core. The wand was manufactured by Garrick Ollivander sometime before Hermione's education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Wauwww!!!! Whish I could give you a thousand "LIKES"!!! What a great artist! I have a question, is it possible to make a miniature one for a greeting card? Maybe 2-D ? If so can you make us a tutorial? Thanks in advance!
I bought those at Walmart for around $1.00 CAD. It came on a package of 3 pairs (6). In case you don’t find them you can use wood dowels and sand them to the desire shape.
@SuperCraftyListic huh. Not sure if my first reply went through. I Dont see it. Either way thank you! Im debating priming with a gloss black enamel i have in hand or just doing the base coat with an acrylic black i have instead of primer before dry brushing.
Hi, I didn’t use a specific pattern. I just tried to make it look as close as possible to the original. It’s easier to start by wrapping around a “string” of clay making a spiral and then add the smaller branches and leaves.
Omg they look amazing. As if I have in front of me the real wands. The best video I have ever seen. You made an amazing work. I would try making Hermione's wand for myself. Do you take orders in case I can't make it 🙂😊😜🤣

So what giving information like that idiot maclaggen
What do you use for that clear stuff you put on Hermione's wand? I'm thinking of making the new 2021 collectors edition wand!
The clear liquid is varnish. I used a matte finish. Good luck on your wand!😊
puedes hacer las velas del gran comedor...
From where I will get all the things . Does dollar tree has all the things.
Quick question the toilet paper after it dryes, stays solid or it might fell of if I sand it to hard?
After it dries becomes very hard. It doesn’t fall off. I sand it lightly just to smooth out the rough edges.

Please, can you make neville's wand and the golden trio's original wands from the sorcerer's stone movie ?
I’ll add them to the list!😊
Creative and talented young lady🌹
Thank you so much!😊
How long the chopsticks should be? So that I can make any character wand with it?
The chopsticks that I get are 14 inches. You can cut them out if you want a shorter wand.
Where can I get long wooden sticks?
I used long bamboo chopsticks (14.2 inches). I got them from Walmart.
Hi ... While using the das clay you need to bake it or not?
No baking required! Das clay is an Air-dry clay. It takes about 24 hours to fully dry.
