The crazy thing well it’s not so crazy . But through the whole song no Russian accent and then on the last two lines when she said let it lead me to my past. And there’s a slight Russian inflection just on that line as she sings about remembering who she is . Of course never noticed as a kid but I just have been craving this song and playing it on loop and I was like wait a minute . We love some Liz Callaway
"speak to me in a language I can hear... Humor me before I have to go." Unless this song predates the movie which came out in '97, the intro is a straight up rip of the smashing pumpkins song thirty three which came out two years prior. Was just watching the movie again and that song came on and I told the family "stop the movie! I know that song..." and had to run it through my head a couple times until I got it.

This was my childhood.
I'm so mad I didn't watch this movie earlier. I'm 15 and just heard about it. This would of been the highlight of my childhood.
Its Ok I had that plenty times myself I just look to the history it was something from the time of others I knew and throw it in my nostalgia and collection as best I can lol
I Love Anastasia!
Calma coração
Que eu tenha coragem
Afinal já estou aqui
Sempre eu aprendi
A enfrentar as coisas
Medo assim eu nunca vi
O meu destino está traçado
Na viagem ao passado
Sei que existe alguém
Que está me esperando
Sonhos meus não vão errar
Vão me receber de braços abertos
Quando eu encontrar meu lar
Eu só estou no aprendizado
Da viagem ao passado.
Lar,família
Tudo isso um dia eu já possui
Lar, família sei que só serei completa
Quando achá-los
Passo a passo eu vou
Cheia de esperanças
Sem saber para onde vou
Busco lá para trás
Rumo para o futuro
Como o sonho me ensinou
É tenho que voltar
Para me encontrar
Sei que só vou sossegar
Quando eu achar
O meu lar!
Honestly my favorite princess movie ever.
2:22 is like my favorite part of the song for some reason
I love this song!!! I know all the words ☺️🤣
I don't know why, but this song makes me cry every time I hear it.
I very like this song! 2023❤
omg i'm like crying! its a massive nostalgia moment..dangg! im like getting a wave of childhood memories with goosebumps! mannn! i miss this kinda music!
Gosh 😭 this makes me soul feel free! Never fails
Liz Callaway is absolutely amazing. Hopefully this Wednesday me and my sister are going to a high school in Maryland to meet her and Jessie Mueller. I actually saw Jessie is Waitress almost two years ago, but didn't get the chance to meet her. Can't wait!!
Now every time I go through my old photo albums I sing this. `-`
FINALLY A DISNEY MOVIE!! WHOO-HOO!
You can say so yeah
Not Disney.
Home and love is what I am in of. 🙏🏼❤
i have no idea why but this song just sounds so nostalgic!! i think i used to watch this movie a lot and it brings back so many good memories
I love this song
She’s officially a Disney princess now
I think we're going to get a remake you know 3D like. like frozen or Tangled
Like if you like the movie, Anastasia? 😉😊
WAY more than A Troll In Central Park.
Sry, but I cannot like. bc I happen to not just like the movie, I love it
I got to ask, did the dance choreography distract anyone else?
I wish they would make a live action remake
It'll be a Broadway musical!
Keep faith, Disney brought the rights for the film in 2015 so I assume they have plans for it in the future..
Pisces Introvert No!
Oh no
they didn't buy the rights to the film, it was a lil prank
"one hope, then another"
Honestly the Broadway show is so amazing and it's different to the movie but somehow better
now THIS is my favorite song from the film! 'once upon a december' is wonderful as well, but THIS is my personal anthem...!!!
I haven't seen this movie in 15 years! I love the music though.
My grandfather was from Ukraine 🇺🇦 this movie, Prince of Egypt and American Tail were the only thing I had to connect to with my heritage as a child!!
Heart, don't fail me now!
Courage, don't desert me!
Don't turn back now that we're here.
People always say
Life is full of choices.
No one ever mentions fear!
Or how the world can seem so vast
On a journey ... to the past.
Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong!
Arms will open wide.
I'll be safe and wanted
Fin'lly home where I belong.
Well, starting now, I'm learning fast
On this journey to the past Home, Love, Family.
There was once a time
I must have had them, too.
Home, Love, Family,
I will never be complete
Until I find you...
One step at a time,
One hope, then another,
Who knows where this road may go
Back to who I was,
On to find my future.
Things my heart still needs to know.
Yes, let this be a sign!
Let this road be mine!
Let it lead me to my past
And bring me home...
At last!
Wonderful 💋❤
