Ellijay and Blue Ridge are two great, cute mountain towns 20ish minutes apart in North Georgia. That whole area is loaded with beautiful lush mountains, hiking trails, fly fishing and tubing rivers, waterfalls, etc. Just a lovely well kept secret stretch of America.
Hi Kim, hope all is well. I'm thinking about visiting your beautiful town. Any tips and recommendations? What's the people and community like, what's the best time to visit? Thank you!
@@thetruthhurts599 hello there! You will find that Ellijay is very friendly and welcoming. We have wonderful restaurants, shopping and wineries, breweries and we have a new cider house. Any time of year is beautiful but Spring and Fall are especially beautiful. Hope you make it here soon!
@@jordanowens6305 I know that Poole's Barbeque is pet friendly and possibly Smokin E's BBQ. BUT I would call to confirm. I would hate to stear you in the wrong direction.
I have been interested in moving there too. Was on Redfin this morning looking at land. Jumped on to RUclips to get some perspective on the area. It may be a go!
Planning a trip next week and this is the video I needed. I didn't catch the name of the restaurant at the end of your video. That burger looked so good!!!
We are heading to Ellijay in June to do some motorcycle riding. We have rented an air bnb log cabin in the mountains for 3 weeks. Looking forward to visiting the area. We are coming from New Hampshire. Great video. Thanks.
@@STho205 I haven't given it a thought to do so, Georgia is my home state. I visit at least twice a year I live in Europe, so it would be one trip to look for when I came back home, so why do you ask, will you keep the light on, and welcome me with open arms?

I've never been to the restaurant myself but I believe that was The Roof and the winery was Ott.

I've been worried about this. Is it THAT bad??
The presenter doesn't seem to be having any problems.
