Just pulled my Wharram Tiki 21 out of the barn after 3 years of storage. I started building her in 2019, had a kid and went through a big move. Finally jumping back in where I left off. This video is pretty impromptu but I plan on making some more organized content as I continue my project. Please drop a comment if you wanna see more!

I say just stick the carved name plates on. Youll pull the boat out again to maintain something anyway, you can change it then if it has problems.

Haha yep! There’s been a number of instances where things weren’t perfect and I keep having to remind myself to embrace it. Thanks for that!
You made need the boat to be 100% level from corner to corner, not just square, in order to place the support blocks under the beams accurately. The sagging trailer outriggers might be an issue. Sweet boat!

Awesome!! Maybe you can plane down the signs to like a 1/4” thick so they can flex, grind off and paint the built up area and mount them directly to the hull.

how many square feet of wood did you use for this
The plans call for 18 sheets of 6mm and 1 sheet of 15mm plywood plus a bunch of timber. Ive probably used more than that in the end.
