wrendall nahmiwan My STX 583 well kinda tricked out so you could say formula z is a 94 model and still going strong. Check out my videos I have of it in here and am going to do more videos on it
My dad has one when I was young. It was a hell of an engine. Kept up with everything. The steering on it however. So tough to steer with the biker handlebars.
bad ass video and bad ass sled very fast my cousin got a sled just like it this summer I love riding I have been a fan of snowmobiles since the first time I have ever rode and I started riding at the age 4 and I have been riding every since my boss let me use his 97 skidoo mxz 670 and I had a blast it brought back so many memories of when I had my old sled so I had to get another one and I just came across a great deal on a 1974 skidoo TNT 440 runs great and rides great for 150$ so I had to get it now I am looking for a decent sled for my wife and I have been thinking about getting her a 96 skidoo mxz 440 that way we both have matching sled a old version and a newer version other then that we both are going to have a skidoo
My first 600 triple didnt pull have as well as your does with a brand new engine and redone track cage.....my friends old stock 583 rotax blew me out of the water.....thinking the clutchs were the problem. Hope my new 600 triple is better.
your 600 should eat a 583 like nothing, if it doesnt u have alot of problems in the clutches, i loved this sled but sold it 3 years ago and bought a mach z 1000
hi the sled does have stock gearing the clutch have been tweaked a little but the engine has ported cylinders tunnel porting on the cases shaved head advanced timing and dynoport trail pipes it works very good for a 600. right now im in the middle of installing a nitrous kit on it hoping to beat done up mach z 1000's
renegadehick put nitro in mine.... lets just say you wont be disappointed, my 600 formula makes new 800 revs a child toy (when it comes to draging) everything else pretty much sucks > fucking triples :D lol your clutch, did you put weights/ramps/spring on it?
i just fixed one of these up I got for free from some one up the road but the reverse don't work it sounds like the engine is gonna blow up when you pull the lever it drives forwards tho it was sitting outside for 10+ years it also idles at 3 so idk if that's right or not
hey man , I found that only your vid its great of the f3 , have the same , are you on stock clutch if yes , tell me the number of the belt your using . I bought a dayco 5019 but I think this belt is real crap seriously , I have lost too much power
Looks like some nice back trails to zip through. Almost better than trails these days. Let me tell you the OFSC in Ontario is a bloody joke. Worst shit I've ever seen and I've been riding since I was 6 years old. 20 years of seeing Ontario's trails and they are the most pathetic display I've ever seen the last 5 years. 90% moguls until Friday night. They groom once a week and its destroyed by Saturday afternoon. Once a trail is wrecked it will never be smooth no matter how many time you fill in the holes. I'm going to become a back woods rider and stick to roads , lakes and shortcut trails like this. They will not get my trail pass money anymore.
Horatio Huffnagel Have the trails gotten that bad? Like what area in Ontario? Near Simcoe? Farther north? Perry Sound? Just wondering.....Also i hear the Trail Passes have become very expensive....
I f*cking love the sound of triples
me too........
Sweet ! A bit hard to steer with the skis in the air all the time. LOL
Nice slide .. I ride a 17 year old Mach 1 700 triple triple with 14,000 plus kms on it, still rocks with the newer sleds.

I love triples but they were notoriously bad for frying one piston. Usually the side that went down the pavement.
