After installing on a Firestick and making a profile, then clear cache and verifying my email address on a tablet. Cannot see an option to select a subscription. Tried twice. No channels. I cannot see what am I doing wrong? Please help
Hi Adam, we used to have this app but I'm afraid it no longer loads. We have tried both View TV and Kapang Android. We are outside the UK and do use a UK VPN. We have a Sony Bravia TV with an Android system. Yesterday our Firestick Lit threw in the towel. I tried all the "solutions" to fix it, no luck. I contacted the Tech at Amazon they said the update for the fire stick had not been updated. The good news is they are sending a new Fire stick, well done Amazon I say
Installing this on Android device I went to my laptop to register. Found that this also works on my desktop {Linux Mint} so presumably works on Windows as well. Very useful if you haven't got Android.
I'm a brit living in North America. I have installed this to watch the six nations tomorrow. It works brilliant! No buffering, excellent quality and loads immediately. I have had trouble with other live tv apps not even being able to start streaming. Cheers!
How did you get it to work? I’m using a DNS and when I try to open it, it tells me that I’m using a VPN/proxy and it won’t let me advance further than that.
@@Mchampion4 I didn’t have a VPN service installed on my Amazon Fire TV cube. StrongDNS folks gave me the ability to install it. I will give it a go later today and see if it works. The error message I received earlier was confusing because it read like it knew I was using something to attempt to gain access - meaning a VPN wouldn’t work also.

This app is brilliant, I'm currently watching the Euros and this app is perfect unlike the BBC app which is behind on time and freezes sometimes, and the ITV App shows their ads before you can watch the scheduled programme

I've been using this for over a week now and I find it brilliant, especially as I don't live in the UK. After verifying my email, it brought me to a page asking for payment details, with the next step being the selection of a plan. I'll stick to the service-that-cannot-be-named-on-RUclips for accessing British content. Maybe if you're already in the UK, it's a viable alternative, but to those of us on the outside looking in, this might be a bid of a dodgy proposition. Great video and great channel overall, though. This app in one fell swoop has solved all the issues the Shield TV has in the U.K!! Namely no free view or UKTV on it, now you can get it all! Flipping fantastic. Literally has now made the Shield TV a device truly capable of replacing your Sky or Virgin box. Along with all the other official apps and Apple TV now.
I've been using this for about a month now. Being in Canada, I've found it to be a really useful and reliable way to watch mainstream UK TV. Roll on the EURO'S!

This is amazing! I don’t have an aerial sooo ain’t watched normal tv for ever haha! I got some of the channels apps but some don’t allow live viewing, only catch-up and then with the ones that do on other devices, they don’t allow you to cast 🤣 so frustrating.. I usually just use kodi to watch what I want but it doesn’t always work. So thank you for this, not a bad selection of channels especially the last one! My favourite haha pub tv! Omg that made me chuckle.. how cool! Haha! Feel like I’m actually in a pub! Can I ask.. what you recommend for watching boxing? I have sports on kodi but it never works .. 🤣😭
@@Mikein203 after 3 years, not sure. Ive used lots of different apps. Now we've got freely, freevee and tubi in the uk. Free live tv with on demand stuff too. Non official stuff. Streamfire and hd streamz has live tv for uk and usa channels

@@DamoVit Sorry for late reply mate, it came back up eventually, although for the last few days the TV guide isn't working and just says "no program" on each channel, and last night all channels were showing test cards, seems to be up and down but a good app for free nonetheless

To your question. Do not use live TV unless it is for live sports. Everything else we do is on demand. We have no problem to login to BBC here in Canada.

OK, got this app, live in France and even with a VPN I struggle to get live UK TV, but this app has sorted that, well to a certain extent will not show ITV 2/3/ or 4 and a few other channels BBC Parliament for example just get a test card, but still great to get all the other stuff

I just got this app so far so good, also found that you can pause live TV just tried it and worked however I am using the firestick 4k just to let you know...however as I said yes you can pause the program but it continues in the background just found that out tonight..

Hadn't used it in ages. Seemed to have signed me out. Not sure if it was cos 12 months free subscription had ended? Anyway, hadn't noted username and password so created new account. Required name and address for account and billing but no payment details needed. Weirdly, when VPN chose Birmingham as the UK location, the app said Error. When I set VPN to Manchester, it worked. 😁🤪
Not working for last 3 days. Emails to company bounce and they don't return calls as they say. I'll give it another couple of days as quality was good when working
Aha, on the Shield you don’t have ViewTV but it’s called Kapang, it has the exact same logo, you have to sign up for an account but it’s free, or you can pay for more channels, and it’s exactly the same. But Channel 4 isn’t in HD?

Not working for last 3 days. Emails to company bounce and they don't return calls as they say. I'll give it another couple of days as quality was good when working

Aha, on the Shield you don’t have ViewTV but it’s called Kapang, it has the exact same logo, you have to sign up for an account but it’s free, or you can pay for more channels, and it’s exactly the same. But Channel 4 isn’t in HD?
Ahhh. Yeah they are the same thing but forgot to mention it maybe called Kapang. Cheers for that.
