We dont have $ to buy those things. Almost bankrupted 😣 aah we dont know what to do mate. Only tourists like you can save us. But still better environment than India 😂 . Dont forget to tell others that Sri Lanka is better than India 😂

We only had time to stop in one country in Southern Asia so we picked Sri Lanka over its neighbors as the "road less traveled," and so glad that we did. We continue to send our Sri Lanka family love!

If you are still there at Galle visit jungle beach other side of unawatuna beach through small jungle, and visiting further down 100km far see ussangoda beach believe beach on a meteorite. If up towards hikkaduwa have a boat ride of Maadu river and see how they making world best cinnamons

Sighhh my beautiful country!!! Do you know you can observe many different types of forests just along the road when you travel between cities? Riverine, Montane, mangrove, lowland evergreen to name a few... Just like how you happened to come across those elephants... That's the beauty of Sri Lanka---you'd get to the largest land mammal and the largest sea mammal within a couple of hours of each other... there's a higher density of biodiversity in Sri Lanka..

Especially in Sri Lanka with so many beautiful corners. 😁Your country is wonderful indeed! And great point on the biodiversity for animals and plants too. We didn't get a chance to see whales, but for anyone else visiting you have a high chance along the southern coast between Galle and Mirissa. The continental shelf is very narrow here so you can access deep waters very quickly and easily. Imagine seeing elephants and shortly thereafter, whales. What a special place it is! 🐘🤍🐋💙

The beaches beyond galle are nicer. A few nice beaches are Weligama, Thalpe, Mirissa and Hiriketiya areas.
