I don't think it's necessarily right to be jealous, but it can be understandable why somebody would be feeling some type of way. If you were somebody who had the choice to be bad and you chose to do good, and then someone comes around who clearly has free will just like you did and could do good too but chooses to do bad ... but yet is exalted and loved even more, after you put in all this work that you honestly didn't even have to. It's a bit understandable how somebody might feel some type of way. I'm not trying to take sides, I'm not saying it's right, but I'm saying that I can see the others point of view a little bit. It's like the bad kid in class who decides to change his ways and do good. And then some new kid comes along who's clearly bad, and you guys get paired together to do a school project. The bad kid who turns good had done most of the work and it was excellent work. The bad kids did nothing but cause trouble. And yet when the time comes for the project to be looked at by the teacher, the teacher use all the praise and credit to the bad kid, and the bad kid gladly takes it even though he was a cut up. Yet, the teacher is loving and praising him even knowing that he's a bad kid, and he didn't do any of the work. Now how would that make you feel? Is it really jealousy that he's feeling, or is it betrayal?

Azazil / Azazel was the name of Iblis before his rebellion, after committing that sin, God cursed him, he swore that he and his descendants (Jin race) / followers (Jin and human race) would mislead people until the Day of Judgment. What we call Satan is the name for evil Jinn and bad humans. BTW Djibril is known as angel Gabriel. The funny thing is Iblis, even though his place in hell is guaranteed, actually he always asks for mercy from God even now and then. He has no chance anymore, but as for Satan (evil Jin or Human) they still has any chance to repent any of their sin as long as they live.

I think the very interesting question to this topic is, was Idris actually feeling jealousy, or was it betrayal? Or was it a little bit of both. How would you like it if you were the bad kid, that decided to be good and put in the work to prove that they could definitely be good, even though they didn't have to because they were born a jinn. You put in all that work for all those years, and suddenly a new person comes along who also has free will, in from the very start chose to do terrible things, and seemed to have absolutely no plans in stopping. Correction: Jibril or Gabriel is the archangel tasked with conveying revelations to the various prophets and messengers throughout history. He is the Archangel of Revelation and obviously NOT Iblis.
The actual name of Iblis / Devil / Satan is not mentioned in the Quran. Whether Iblis is his actual name or the name given to him by God after his disobedience, only God knows.
