- This is my attempt to build a crop roller crimper. This will be used to terminate grasses and vegetation prior to planting a food plot for deer and turkey.

Bearings:

Metal was sourced from my local scrap yard.
Total cost estimate: $300 - Хобби
I really liked this build! What welding setup do you have? Where'd you source those bearings and bearing housings? New to fabbing and looking to build my own crimper 👌🏽 thanks for posting this 🙏🏼

Liked It , how far apart are the cutting blades thinking of put mine at a angle wonder if it would make much difference ? Mine will only be as wide as the 4 wheeler .
I spaced them evenly. They were ab 6" apart. That's good enough to get a good crimp. I also drilled a hole and added water weight to it. Almost cuts the grass in half.
