There's about a 0% chance the people of Ohio would let someone outbid OSU for Hartline. He's the fan favorite and maybe the most important part of our recruiting success.

it should be Kevin Wilson and Brian Hartline as Co-Offensive coordinators, with Hartline as play caller. Have Kevin Wilson take on the further task of being the offensive line coach.

Brain could not be happier. His family loves Ohio. He loves his job, he’s not going anywhere. He just needed a pay raise and got it.

I think Hartline has enough money. Played in the NFL for years. But absolutely it is about retaining him for WR University. Gotta keep him. Not sure why anyone would want to be a head coach but OC for sure.

The Buckeyes have had Day, Hartline and Wilson calling plays. We couldn't run and lost big games. The key is keeping Hartline preferably, at his position, and hiring a more run minded OC, but if Hartline is anointed OC, you better hire the best O-line coach in CFB.

I don't think Hartline is the guy. He isn't an OC. Just let him do what he is best at. He is the best at what he does. We need an OC that is experienced and elite. Same with Defense.

What Juan was saying is that he has already been announced as the new OC. You both need to do your homework, because you think you know it all and you DO NOT!!!

If Ohio state were to steal Dawson, wouldn't Mario have to offer Hartline the OC job? 😂

Do you feel stupid that your speculation was so off-base? Does that make you feel worse or are you justifying it in your head that the speculation was worth the clicks? Because there was no way in hell that Shannon Dawson was leaving Miami. You wasted a lot of time here, buddy.

You have to factor in Ryan Day’s inherent insecurity. Chip Kelly worked because they’ve known each other so long. Based on past experience I doubt Day would bring in a top quality guy from outside.
More likely they promote Hartline, then blame him when he doesn’t excel with new players. That’s Day’s pattern.
