The K1 is already out of production. If you don't need to connect a microphone, go with the E413. It's a great keyboard will loads of features. You can learn to play and if you are an advanced user, you have many options to play around with the styles and filter settings. The E413 sounds great, too. You even have some so-called Yamaha Sweet! voices.
Have you got a PC? you can download styles and voices at the Yamaha internet site. Then you must connect your keyboard with PC. I have a psr K1. But I don't love it.
No, for a beginner it's a quite good keyboard with lot's of functions that won't set you back the price of a decent second hand car like the Tyros models who costs here in the Netherlands up to € 4000,-
I know all the songs of this keyboard because is my keyboard!!!! :) 1). Against All Odds 2). Englishman In New York - (Time: 1.50) 3). Can Help Falling In Love - (Time: 0.32) 4). Hard Days Night These songs is a sample of karaoke because is a karaoke machine
You're welcome. The Tyros has much more functions but it has no learningfunctions build in it. And as i have mentioned earlyer, i would not risk € 4000,- if playing a keyboard is not your cup of tea. If it turns out that you got the feel for playing you can always switch to a Tyros. But for a learning player i would not buy a Tyros. You have to work your way trough 240 pages of manual instructions to figure out what the Tyros can do!!!!!
There are millions of people who like to play music on a keyboard but hasitate because they think ist's hard to learn. For those people it's a good keyboard to learn playing. O.K. the Tyros models offer a lot more functions but it takes alomst up to a week to figure out the manual!!!!!! The Tyros keyboards have so many features it's way to difficult for a novice to grasp.
I don't understand the point of this type of machine (I can't call this an "instrument".. Is it a piano? A jukebox? karaoke? Would be better to have the same machine without keyboard. Here everybody can play using any part of the body.. Michel could have use other part than the hand, that would have been more fun!! Thanks YAMAHA, that's how we distruct further the image of musicians playing on nice keyboards like the T2...
@deliquenme pentru ca nu are nici discheta abia merg ritmuri in ea sa le incarci iti ia ceva timp...sunete nu prea le are rasarite...mai bine decat asta iti mai pui bani si iti iei gw7 nou si e roland;) si sa fim seriosi la clapele fara sampler rolandu domina:)
No this keyboard is for anybody, it's still a decent enough keyboard if you can't afford a Tyros. And to be honest I would rather take a cheap keyboard to shows than take a keyboard that costs thousands out of the house. At least with a cheap keyboard like my Yamaha PSR-295 I could let other people have a whirl on it and also before 2013 I was unemployed and I'm unemployed once again as I resigned last year just as I was about to buy a Tyros 5 funnily enough! Maybe if I still want a flagship keyboard in a couple of years I might settle for a Tyros 2 as you can now get one of those for under £1,000 as well as the fact higher end keyboards have a USB thumb drive. But if I can save up a decent amount or don't mind taking money out of my savings maybe I might reconsider a Tyros 5.
Being a 90's kid, I learnt a lot of old western classics from his Yamaha demonstration videos. Such nostalgia ⭐
Same, I Prefer to Check Out Bert Smorenburg, Peter Baartmans & Jaochim Wolf
Does anybody have the video of Michel Voncken demonstrating the Yamaha PSR-295?
If so please could you reupload it?

It's one fo those idiotic entertainer-keyboards that people can use to play at weddings to the sheer horror of people with a GOOD taste of music.
