I can remember when I got this game. I was so hyped and sped home to try it, and it did NOT disappoint at all! This game truly felt like the movie and it's Dash Rendar may have been a Han Solo duplicate character but he was a awesome addition to the series. It was and IS a great game even now. Top 10 easy!
Yeah I get tired of reading "The first level was good; after that everything was terrible" This was SUCH a good game. SO many cool levels. I used to love breezing through the Asteroid Field for some fun. And SKYHOOK BATTLE to end it? Man...
This game had the coolest debug mode and cool little tricks like being able to play as an AT-AT, X-wing, Tie Fighter and I'm pretty sure the Millennium Falcon. You could even control NPC's like Wompas in the Hoth level. Good times!
At 15:15 I used to mess with these “Wampas” as a kid had to look up what they were called lol they used to be so scary to me. I would kite them out of that room and make them attack the storm troopers. You could literally bring them or at least one of them across the entire level with you.
One of my first games for the Nintendo 64, as well as my favorite franchise since I was a child. the most beautiful gift I received for Christmas in 1998. The story and gameplay is incredible to this day, speaking of the old Star Wars canon.
1:27:47 - Max of "Sam & Max" easter egg. 1:51:00 - If you squint, you can kind of see what the developers were talking about when they said they made the supercomputer resemble an N64 with the Shadows of the Empire cartridge plugged in. It's a very charitable squint, but it tracks.
The cheesy Wilhelm screams that the stormtroopers make as they fall off ledges to their death always made me laugh, similar to the movies. This game was a gem from Lucas Arts.
Just got done watching this entire walkthrough of this CLASSIC Star Wars game Kawaii Games! Excellent gameplay and thanks for showing 100% of all the Challenge Points and amazing run! Still though the creators were NUTS where some of these challenge point locations were! The one that I doubt anyone know back in 1996 is on Gall Spaceport at 1:22:56, who the hell was supposed to know that last challenge point was outside the boba fett arena next to those Bay doors!???
Re: challenge points, Seems pretty crazy. I can finally see why I never found them all (esp in Gall Spaceport), most of these were in places you'd never even think to look
Well done! This easily is one of the better Star Wars games. Super Star Wars and the others are also incredible! This game bridged a section smack in the middle of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi to perfection. But then Disney said it didn't exist. Funny how all of the excellent stories that the Author's and game designers made which are 1,000% better then ANYTHING that the Kathleen Kennedy Clones have created get erased? And were stuck with Rey and Toes Pico. Yipee!
Back in 1996, my parents go me Star Wars everything for Christmas, including this game. It was so awesome... before the new movies. Before the Special Editions... Old school Star Wars better. Playing those last few levels on a small 20 inch CRT was difficult because of all the fog. I recently played the PC, and it wasn't nearly as difficult as I remembered.
On the original 64 it is possible it has a limit 640x480 Now super clean I'm not sure what he was using But what I'm using is the app M64 plus FZ emulator Depending what phone.. I'm using cricket XT2117-1 this one works 98%flawlessly it has a tiny hiccup 1-2 % not that often but it's playable in this game. this app on my phone I went a little more over the limit on the N64 from 640x480 to 1440 x1080 It goes higher but I didn't even bother to try it. It really does look clean well polish it's almost like you're playing on the PC. It's very hard to believe that my phone could handle this kind of resolution And yes I'm using the wireless controller the Xbox controller and PS4 controller works on my phone very well with a connection with the HDMI to the TV or PC Monitor
Fun fact: The Imperial Fighter Suprosa level is not only where the Rebel Alliance get the plans of the second Death Star, there is more to the lore than this game explains. Like Luke told Dash at the end of Beggar's Canyon level, an agent of Black Sun brought the Rebels the time and route of the Suprosa freighter. Guri's agent was Bothan, and he brought the Suprosa route plans to the Bothan Spynet. Now, as all hardcore Star Wars fans know, in Return of the Jedi, Mon Mothma claimed that the Bothans gave their lives to bring the Death Star II plans to the Rebel Alliance. The truth is, their deaths could have been avoided. After Dash boarded the Suprosa to get the supercomputer and escaped with it on the Outrider, Guri on the planet Rodia (home of Greedo's race) inspects the Rebels at the Next Chance casino. After a brief meeting she cuts it short claiming that she has business to attend, leaving the Rebels with the distinct impression that there was something unusual about her. On the Outrider, Koth and Luke discuss about the supercomputer's significance while Dash blames himself for missing the missile that killed the Bothan rebels. If Dash hadn't missed shooting the missile, no Bothans would have died.
Bruh stfu. Why do SW fans do this? All of this made up fan lore.😂😂😂 SW fans are the worst at trying to fill in plot holes and connect things that never were connected or making it seem all esoteric and shit. Grow up.
One of the best star wars games ever. I love the story and varying gameplay!
Still pure therapy looking at it!! I wish they could release it on current consoles.... 😞
Unlike in the canon universe, the Stormtroopers in the game actually CAN hit you with their shots.

ahh the 90s, when the hype rarely disappointed and we almost always got an awesome unique complete game for $60

My best friend got it before I did and I slept over all weekend playing it with him. We probably played the Hoth speeder level 100 times lol.
I loved this game! It's pure, beautiful nostalgia! And the terrifying sounds of IG-88 still haunt my dreams to this day. Lolz 😂
Don’t remind me that wee bastard scared the shit out of me as a kid 🤣

I got to play ▶️ this game 🎮 during my senior year of high school 🏫 😳 in 2001, Plattsburgh Upstate New York. Good 👍 game 🎮 Good 👍 Times ⏲️ 👏 👌 👍 🙌 😎
Aww man! Another awesome game! I never did go for all those challenge points lol. Thanks Kawaii!
yout aiming in the asteroid belt is strange. seems like the analog stick isn't calibrated correctly.
Is this played on a real N64? And if so what did you use for output/capture? Looks super clean

Body Harvest for next longplay please, that game is the godfather of GTA 🙏
A man of culture 👍🏼
My family went on vacation the day of release. A certain 13-year-old might have spent his entire vacation playing and re-playing this classic.
How did you get such an amazing picture from your Nintendo 64?
great game
This game is why I got a Nintendo 64.
This game was so good. It was soooo good
A shame they never ported this to Switch. It would have been a great addition to the SW Heritage Collection.

Prince Xizor should be canon lol
Yeah if he was a she? Then maybe Kathleen Kennedy and her Clones of agenda based Feminists might allow it. She's destroyed everything Star Wars was.
thanks
This needs a release on switch online. Badly.
Q: What do you call an Imperial Walker that doubles as a cell phone tower?
A: An AT&T AT-AT.
Derp!

by holding z-trigger when aiming you can aim more precisely. you don't do that.

Can’t play it again on the switch from 64 switch online
