Parasite, later upgraded Monk and Frost Armor..., what a great combo.
The unupgraded mermaid has a better value to the upgrade, the Upgrade's AoE has an RNG to its placement and sometimes whiffs. With Frost Armor AI you make sure it's placed on the first thing that gets attacked. - I'd spam regular Mermaids and upgrade only one for stacking debuff.
