How’s the hospital system? I have a complex chronic illness and have only lived in large metro areas with excellent top 10 hospitals. I’m interested in Sequim for exactly that reason, as it’s so pristine, but people are warning me to look deeply into the hospital.
Is iT sunny in the winter or overcast and dry? Thanks
It's cloudy and damp in the winter.
Can you buy homes in Sequim that are under the USDA loan provisions?
Of course. Why couldn’t you?
@@cmarunde Was wondering if Sequim classified as a rural area and if there were USDA eligible properties there.
Why no video or pic?
I have hundreds of photos and videos of Sequim online at my blog and in videos. You can see those at:

Hi I’m from California I want to retire in sequim but I’m just concerned when you said you are anti California
29 years old I've lived here my whole life, people just don't like Californians over here.
They are.
Have you ever concerned about a big earthquake may be coming soon and destroy the city?
No, and I’ll tell you why. In a major metropolitan city like Los Angeles or Seattle, a major earthquake will take down the freeway on-ramps, and destroy their transportation system immediately, so that people will be stranded inside cities and wherever they are they won’t be able to get home or get to loved ones. Because there are large multi story buildings that will be collapsing, many people will be killed and trapped. In the Square area most of us live in a simple single-story home, and even downtown most of the buildings are one or two stories. In addition our homes even shaken by large earthquake were mostly resulting just broken windows not collapsed roofs. Since we don’t have any major freeways and on ramps to worry about, we won’t be trapped in any particular location except within a few miles of our homes, and even that is unlikely because most of our roads are simple two lane flat roads. In the metropolitan areas people will be without water and without food, but in rural areas like this, I have a back up generator, my own well, and food in storage. Sequim is one of the safest places in the world to be during an earthquake.
@@cmarunde We have lived in Colorado for 29 years. My husband already retired. My target retirement time will be at the end of 2021. I like water and he likes mountains. Sequim is in a location that can fit our needs well. However, locating in an earthquake zone is a main concern. I'll start to look at your blog site and the MLS information. How would it work for you to sell house out of state? Can you do it? Do you need to find a local partner in our case Colorado?
you can't live your life in fear, but yes, we're on the big fault line
