Yes, so do I. I have a rooster and 8 hens. The rooster will flat flog you if you get close to his hens. Thankfully they aren't free range.😂

"That is not my rooster!" has become one of my favorite parts of each video. Makes me laugh every time. It really has become your catch phrase. If/when you move, you'll have to buy a rooster for your new neighbors. LOL!

I loved the lady;s succulent hat! The event at Park Winters was sooo great to watch. It felt like we were all there with you....great video! I greatly admire Brent's incredible patience. If I'd been a passenger heading to an event and the car broke down twice or even once I'd have a nervous breakdown. But there he was calmly going about his business. And getting you there! The bouquets you made were lovely and it looked like a huge hit with everyone picking their stems and going home with an arrangement. One day I'll get there for one of those fun days!
I got Plant Tone at Tractor Supply. I couldn't believe it! It was an 18 lb bag for $25! That's the best price I have ever seen it anywhere! I paid $15 for a 4 lb bag last year at Lowe's. I think the Plant Tone covers most plants if people can't afford to buy all the different ones.

That's my problem, over the years I have put rugs, blankets, traps , auto black pastic, mulch, sacks and cardboard in my flower garden's try to get rid of that stupid crawling grass

🦩Have you talked to the store down the road that carries fertilizer about carrying the Epsoma brand? I am so fortunate that I have it here. According to Epsoma, rose tone is used on hydrangeas. I don’t know if you grow hydrangeas in your area, but I’m in western Pennsylvania and it’s a big deal here.
RE Brent is a good guy=Yes, he was there for you this weekend. I know he avoids the camera, but this weekend he was so present and supportive. Good job Brent. When I think of Brent, I imagine Wilson on ToolTime mysteriously over the fence.
For japanese beetles you can treat your yard with milky spore. This will help kill the grubs. I go out early in the mornings when they are just waking up and knock them into a bucket of soapy water. They will drown and die. Also avoid using japanese beetle bait bags. Unless youre on a large property, you will just attract all of the beetles from your neighbors yards 😂
I want a baseball cap of That's Not My Rooster when you get them, will we know when we can order just before you announce they are in stock??? I am with you Robbie about not liking to order off Amazon, I also like supporting the local people.
Holly Tone is what's best for Hydrangea. Here is Missouri Walmart usually carry's Holly Tone but no other Tone products.

Hi, Robbie.....In regards to battling bermuda grass: You might do a bit of research on trying MSMA. While it doesn't fully kill it right away, it will set it back and let other grasses like fescues and bluegrass thrive and take over. It's used a lot in sod farms and golf courses, so might give you some added control of your bermudagrass. There are some harmful aspects of this chemical, so I would suggest researching for yourself to decide if it's something you'd want to introduce into your space. You're doing great work! Thanks for bringing us along!

I've seen homesteaders in Ohio (their name is 'More Than Farmers') using a hand vacuum to vacuum Japanese beetles off their plants. I'm going by memory. I'm pretty certain she only had to do it once or twice--great channel, btw.

Here in Oklahoma Bermuda grass is very common because it can withstand the severe weather conditions during g summer and winter. My husband over seeds the lawn and causing it to drown the Bermuda grass, all we have left is a very small patch and it should be taken care off very quickly. From Espoma you can use Hollytone and there is also an Ever-Green tone that you can use for evergreens 🌲 😊
You have to put down thick overlapping cardboard….with at least 4” of compost.

I was going to say don't paint the aviary roof black as the birds would suffer so good for you.. sometimes I feel that same issue when you have plants that struggle.. The fence looks great black but it was to reflect eat back into the garden and heat up the plants? Thoughts? Have a great Memorial Day and week! Watching daily with coffee is a treat for me!
I love bio- tone also it’s Holly- tone for all things evergreen. I believe they have an evergreen- tone but I just buy the holly one.

Robbie, is it possible you have a spider problem? It looks like there are a bunch of webs behind you. I had to hire someone to spray for them on my property every month. It helps enormously. There is no freaking out.😊

QUESTION: I have a young rose bush that when I went to trim it back, all I found were 7 leaves, not 5. How do I trim it then and will I get roses? Thank you. I wish I had been near the popup! I doubt it will ever be near me.
