Hello fellow sinusitis girlie. I had a balloon sinuplasty five-ish years ago and it was one of the best things I did for my breathing. I may need a full sinus surgery later because my frontal sinuses are in perpetual pain 😅
I actually woke up during my wisdom teeth removal and they then increased the anesthesia they were giving me and it definitely affected me that whole night. so weird how bodies work

Oh my goodness, this video was so helpful! I also probably need this surgery (I have asthma, allergies, constant headaches from my sinuses), and had been putting it off because my grandmother did it, and she said she had never experienced that amount of pain in het life 😬 So I just thought, it's fine, I'll just not breathe right for thé rest of my life, I'm good 😅
But now, seeing you go through it and be so happy you did it, I think I'll go to thé doctor 😮

I had the same surgery and thought the surgery was the easiest thing ever. The very first night was rough because i didn't take in pain pills after I took some in the hospital bc they made throw up but. There's not much pain at all, truly.
I bought Fourth Wing when it first came out and still have not read it. The mixed reviews have me scared to. It seems everyone either loves it or hates it. No in between 😅

I still have yet to read Fourth Wing, I will eventually get there and lol...all those Signs DVDs and a VHS! Does your laptop play DVDs because you can pop them in and watch it on the laptop or did they stop making those on laptops, mine is old as dirt (2012 old).

I also love The Fifth Season, BUT it's definitely one that you feel might a little lost at first because she just drops you in and you gotta hang on, because it's reaaaaaally good. I struggle with allergies and am constantly blowing my nose. It sucks. I also have asthma. It also sucks! My sinuses are not that bad, but I usually breathe out of my mouth as I am usually a bit stuffy.
After you had the stuff taken out at the end there and were talking about how the rest of us smell, it made me think of getting glasses for the first time and being like, you people can see the individual leaves on a tree? and not just a big mass of green? Amazing. 👓😎

I had A tonsillectomy and teeth extraction surgeries this past January and still dealing with the aftermath after all these months. I'm glad you're okay now and technically I think I'm the last person to read this but I haven't built up the courage to read it yet lol.

Feel you about the sinuses. I have actual asthma and allergies as well as chronic sinusitis. Somewhat congested but mostly horrible sinus headaches every day. Waiting to get into a headache clinic (yay for Canadian healthcare: free but long waits).
So glad that things went well for you. I hope things keep getting better and better. You actually do sound less nasally! You deserve happiness and joy❤

I've heard the MC of Fourth wing is meant to have Ehlers Danlos syndrome, which is a genetic connective tissue disorder (that I have). Respectfully, for that fact only, I will be reading this book despite anything that anyone says, lol.
This brings me back to when I had the same surgery 3 times!! Still don’t think it’s perfect but I don’t want to do it again. Also hated fourth wing as well because it really was terrible

I am glad your health is doing a lot better now that you’ve had surgery and things and your mom is there to help you out and thank you for helping me avoid fourth Wing, you and Meg from Meg with the books did not like this book and neither did Emily Fox from Books with Emily Fox?
This was so strange…the similarities to my life of late are really wild: 1) my teenager had deviated septum surgery about 2 weeks ago and he has literally been saying the same thing (“you all have been breathing this well the whole time?!), and (2) I just recently read The Firth Season and I’m starting book 3 in the series now (make sure you push through the initial discomfort of not knowing why one storyline uses the second person POV/“you” because this book is sooo good!); and (3) I despise Fourth Wing - I was so happy I wasn’t alone in thinking the writing was atrocious. Hope your next surgery goes smoothly!
