Look closely as Pesho’s tongue turns black after cleaning his brother’s muddy back. (there is a shaved spot there from a recent medical procedure) 4:14 - 4:24
I have become very fond of this pride. Pilipili, the almost 2 year-old cub, is my favorite. The Zoo's trainers are keeping a close eye on his relationship with his father. About this time friction can develop between the adolescent and the alpha male. If that happens, he will be shipped to another zoo. Lincoln Park Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). AZA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of zoos and aquariums in the areas of conservation, education, science, and recreation. AZA is the gold standard in zoo and aquarium accreditation, which assures Pilipili will go to a good home.
@@the1stmikec Hello! Thank you for such a complete answer! Your Zoo The Lincoln Park Zoo is very beautiful and convenient for lions to live in. This family of Lev Jabari and his lionesses and children captured my heart. Thanks to you, I now have the opportunity to observe the life and development of my family and children! As for their very first lion cub, Pilipili, it depends on the character of Jabari's father. He can leave his adult son in the pride or banish him. This happens in nature by the age of two, the pride banishes its sons into a free and adult life. Sorry for the mistakes, as English is not your native language.
It’s always a treat to watch your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. It’s impossible not to love this pride. LPZ did let me know that Lomelok had a “haircut “- their word… He’s doing well. I think all is well with the pride. Jabari is a cool dad. Pilipili is so special. Each member is so unique & with fascinating personalities. Things will change but eh… let’s enjoy the magic 8! U take care & 🙏
