  • In this project, remote control is used to control (simply ON and OFF) several appliances or devices, thus achieving a simple home automation system.
Remote controls are one of the commonly found devices in almost all homes. They help us operating an appliance like TV, Air Conditioning, etc. The main feature of remote control is that it is specific to a device. For example, a TV remote control unit can only be used for that corresponding TV.
But in this project, we have designed an Arduino-based Home Automation Using IR Remote, where a single remote is used to control 4 different devices Also we can control the different devices with manual switches as shown in the video (possible to control more devices).

when you started the simulation , why did you remove the wire that links the power supply and the light bulb and then put it back on ? and how did you even do that because i can't modify the circuit while the simulation is still running

as soon as I start the simulation my Power Supply goes to 0 A (second screen on the power supply), no matter to what voltage I put it on. I checked the schematic a few times, everything seems in order. I just can't figure it out.

everything is working, excepting the IR remote...why? even using the link you provide for simulation...remote is not working. why?

is not the first project what I'm trying to use the remote. and is not working... I'm doing something wrong? or the library is not available anymore?

"Hi there, thank you for watching and commenting on my video. I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the IR remote in Tinkercad simulator. I’m not sure why it is not working for you, but maybe there is a bug or a compatibility issue with the simulator. You can try to contact the Tinkercad support team and report your problem to them. They may be able to help you better than I can. 🧐
I hope you enjoyed the rest of the video and learned something new. Please let me know if you have any other questions or feedback. Thank you for your support and patience." :)

Hi there! I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing. It seems that there might be compatibility issues with the new update in Tinkercad affecting the functionality of the IR remote and sensor. I recommend trying out the same circuit in the Wokwi Simulator, as it's known to work seamlessly with the provided code. Let me know if you need any assistance setting it up on Wokwi!

You can connect 220v Supply to relay. The Relays Works only As a switch

The given simulation is perfectly working , and in the video I by mistake forgot to add the wire and after I connect the wire that's why this happens. You can directly access the simulation by link in discription for your understanding and connection checking
