I'm surfing Utube - looking for Burton singing the original version of American Woman & I stumbled upon this gem! ThankU, Utube gods! Elvis FOREVER, Dian
would love to see the whole show again from the past in its entirety - The reason I'm proud to be a Canadian-boy the talent that has come from here-never to be underestimated !!!-I believe he did an impersonation of Robert Plant!!(one of his fave influences!!) - Keep "ROCKIN' " AH BURT!!!-LOL- you grew up in the best of times!!!!!!What a Life!!!
I only just realized that Burton does impressions: I heard him on Peter Kozlowski's interview: Doing an impression of Gordon Lightfoot, singing Rod Stewart's version of Maggie May. Excellent rendition, actually! It's a keeper!!
@d2pwow Try this on RUclips "Burton Cummings - Gene Pitny - Johnny Mathis" which was part of the special which I believe was titled "Burton Cummings My Own Way To Rock". It was on cable pay per view in the late 70's or early 80's.
My 2 Favorite Singers Of All Time, Burton And Elvis!
Burton doing Elvis, doesn't get any better!

G.G.: Burton!
hes good but Ronnie McDowell did this much better in the movie Elvis (1979)
Burton could mimic many but no could ever mimic Burton...
+blueticecho I totally agree with you. When you can hear the first note of his one-in-a-million voice, you know it's Burton. Amazing rocker.
Oh, I don't know about that. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
