Another great video on places to go in or near Pattaya BC! Looks like a perfect day trip. Kudos.

Thanks, Ric! Yes, I can recommend it to anyone who hasn't been, or is returning after a few years. This was my second trip and there's still things there I'd like to see. It seems to have some history attached to it, and it's easily accessible from Bangkok and Pattaya! Cheers.

I went to Koh Si Chang at the weekend past what a lovely and welcoming destination. From the minute we boarded the boat to take us there was great. The hotel was superb and the owner and his wife and young daughter were there the same weekend. Her mum and dad run it with a few good people. The room was really good we where a party of five and we got a deal which should have been 2000 baht for a weekend night. We where five people and she offered us strait away two rooms for 3500 baht both clean and modern rooms and facilities. Quite a few people came and most for mid night fishing 10 metres from your room or she could organise a fishing boat as well as the pick up from the boat arrival at the pier. They also have a baht bus to take you back to the pier for the return journey to Sriracha. We didn't see everything on the island but we are going back to do that.

That's a really great comment, Alan. Thanks for your input. What was the name of the hotel where you stayed?

Great review of the island. This one seems to offer a little bit more to see than most of the others that I have been to, which are mainly confined to beaches. Glad to see that you are getting out of Pattaya and away from the smog.

Thanks, David. Yes, it's an interesting island. I was only able to scratch the surface because I only had a half-day there. Easily enough to keep you occupied for a day or two. The King's summer palace alone would warrant a half day! Sadly, didn't quite escape the smog, but I know it looks even better on a clear day!

Thanks for the comment, Stephen. There's certainly some lovely places to visit whenever you want a change from the hustle and bustle. And the good news is they're neither far or expensive to get to. It's like going to another world!

Thanks, Bigbopper. Are you sure that's the French? Maybe it's all Europeans! Hahaha
