Gas Gas is doing something other manufacturers aren't - bringing bikes to events so people can test-ride them. Awesome IMO

I've test ridden one already. They don't need a counter balancer. The engine is almost creepy smooth for not having a balancer. Totally different feel than the previous generation.
How did we ever ride offroad 2 strokes without counter balancers and all the other unnecessary crap they throw on bikes these dayz!? A heavy 2 stroke is still better than a light fourstroke. Suck it up! Pussies!!

I really don’t like how they have the silencer so exposed without a larger number plate to protect it... seeing how they specify in off-road trail bikes that silencer is going to be bashed on many a rock and rout in its lifetime and I don’t know about you guys but being able to easily dent my silencer when riding off-road due to an easily solved design feature of having a couple inches more on the number plate is just plain dumb. What you thinkn Gas Gas!

looks like the starter needs to be removed to get the cylinder off to change the top end. Is that correct?

No,it is not hard to find parts for these bikes. Same as anything else. I have owned 3 gasgas and never had a problem.
Bryce Green u most have a good shop there is none in my state and finding parts is so bad for me i try to find most parts online and shipped from over seas
I live in Canada and we have like.. 4 dealers period. I order parts online and get everything within a few days.

A 2018 revamp and no FI??? Beautiful bike but I think they missed this opportunity.
Joey Fnuts yes I know, I'm saying they missed the opportunity to put FI on it. They will be behind the ball because they carbed it. KTM is pulling ahead in the FI aspect. It is a beautiful bike though.

Peter Taylor I would have to disagree. I had FI on my Huqvarna 510 in 2008, yes I had to set it up right but when I did, it was amazing. I'm not anti carb, they are great and reliable, just think with the technology today, FI is easier to tune and can be set up that it never needs to be adjusted. I've seen more bikes running like crap due to a poorly adjusted carb then I have ever seen from an fi issue.
In side by side comparisons people still like the power delivery of a carbureted bike.

KTM frame, swingarm, and linkage???.....Cloned or purchased from KTM?
Other way around... KTM stole their design a few years ago from the Jotagas and Bimota 300's which were designed by Miki Arpa who now works for GasGas.
ktm have PDS no have progressive linkage... husqvarna and gas gas yes!

@@miloraca sherco having better quality parts and is using own stuff unlike ktm... Needed husqvarna and husaberg as rolemodel and tried to buy gas gas just to ease the challenge being the best bike.. Ktm uses gas gas parts on their 300 2 stroke... So bitch pls, just coz u like some other brand doesnt make it the best or king brand.. Whenever the facts are put up, u cannot face the truth

I don't like the way 300's ride. 250's require a different riding style hence why I want a 250 review. I am 100% NOT interested in a 300.
Ok, that`s a valid opinion. I would recomend then to check DirtBike Channel, lots of content on reviewing 250 (2 strokes). :)
