    And Rover, superb! Needs some lower techs first, and some tech points, but that is only matter of some time... and then your own mobile home is reality :)

    Hello, i can see you're preparing for a exploration, and try to count what you will need for underway... i seen one player who built all the things he wanted to take with him on a field near his base, and only when everything was built, he took grinder and cut everything down...
    Since in this game, you get back 100% of what you used for building, he then was quite sure he had enough of materials with him...
    Took him only some extra time and tools usage (but that can be repaired by now)

    Medium solar panel - Ecxellent! With that built, most of the worries about power are over... put one of these besides your vehicle while searching bases, and before you continue journey your vehicle shall be topped... (unless you do really quick-and-dirty search).

      BTW, since you get electricity tech points for the amount of produced energy, then having few medium panels speeds up your next advancement (in electricity only, ofc)

      Lol this is about as quick a d dirty a base search gets, go for the green tech tablet and just pick things up on the way to it.

    22:00 well you like large batteries, but as of now you can't use them. I would far more recommend taking "more efficient pannels", bcse as said, you get tech points according to energy produced. Thus, any production increase (here: by 20%, automatically on each panel, no need to refit) has a "snowball effect" as you get NEXT point(s) faster...
    Wait -were the batteries condition for Rover? If yes, and you can build it now, then i apologise, Rover is stil THE thing.
    And nope, you still neeed Mechanics workbench, and that needs few other things... no Rover immediatelly. New ATV would be nice however, 50% faster and greater range...

      Need the workbench to unlock the rover tech.
      I think the truck is best for searching near places, its faster, it charges and it protects from cold.
      Rover is slowness isnt that great for inside of 3km radius, unless you are just going to clear a ton of bases. But i am sticking with 'day raids' atleast for a while.

      @@tristint.4857 Unless they changed something (which is good possible), Mars truck doesn't protect from cold, neither one can sleep in it. But is fast and self-charging. Good indeed. Rover is 33% slower, but true mobile home... long range, for several days, just keep it charged sometimes... with bed ofc. Also that BIG rack capacity, plus possibility to carry Container which is nearly bottomless... you could pack whole base into it and move somewhere if you like to :)

      @@tristint.4857 On second read, confirm that Truck is good enough, especially for trips without sleeping "outside" (outside your base)

      I know the truck does protect from cold in current version, and i think the last version was the same, could be wrong.
      Im also trying to show off as much of the game as possible for people who are curious
