Meg looks like her. They did that on purpose. She is one of the only original love interests that could sing and didn't get the separate singing voice treatment most other characters did.
In the film, you might notice a few other characters who look like their voice actors!

I don't think the Megara character would have been nearly as memory without Susan Egan bringing her to life. Amazing performer. It's a shame that the film isn't more celebrated amongst the Disney Renaissance films.
The second she started singing, I paused because she sounded, if not better, just as good as the original singer. Then, I found out she is the original singer.
P.S. everyone says she sounds exactly the same. I disagree. She sounds better ! The fact that she already sounded nearly perfect over 2 decades ago says a lot. What a gorgeous voice.
