TBH it sounds like operator error. What m12 tools are you using, my tools have 4 leds near the trigger that tell you the charge of the battery. Also, how do you poking your fingers by squeezing tabs in?

I wouldn't be surprised if Milwaukee makes forged M12 batteries in the future as well as a Gen 2 3/8th stubby with trilight LED, gen 2 M12 FUEL and M18 FUEL hackzalls, M18 Fuel or M18 brushless Random orbital sander, and even throw in an MX Fuel 32 inch mower.
They need a Gen 3 m12 top off with more than just 15W output. For the price of the m12 top off I was expecting more, but I figure it's just another way for them to do a "side upgrade" vs. A full fledged upgrade with type-C PD. Typical though they did pump the price by way of injecting a wall charger; despite the fact most people have them, have GaN chargers, and even equally fast charging adaptors in their cars thanks to the PD standard being adopted more. Margins margins margins. That's the milwaukee'ai way!
I had the heated hoodie, concept is soubd but they really need more insulation in the entire heated line up .. its almost like they under insulate so you always have it on so you have to go buy more batteties to last you all day 😂
The heated hoodie is meant to be light and have the heater for when you get caught in the cold. The jackets are much better suited for colder weather. And they're designed to replace extra layers with heaters. My buddy wears a heated hoodie under his riding jacket in the colder weather
The newer hoodies are made to fit more snugly so a jacket can be layered over it more easily than the first gen hoodies, because that was their intent for the hoodies.
That's because you got a hoodie... It acts like a normal hoodie would but with the heater. I have the jacket and I usually don't turn it on unless its below 30° and windy because it's so warm. I'm sweating in my 20° garage in the winter

I have two of the original battery adaptors. I like them because they DIVERSIFY the use of the m12 battery. Thats how people can optimize self sufficiency without spending alot of money in my humble opinion.

So I have a SNAP-ON hoodie and it’s made by the same m as what Milwaukee uses. Snap on gives you a 10000mah battery bank with 2 usb. Plugs right in my Milwaukee as well. Hopefully this is a similar battery as I could get 6hrs on MED

The original design for the Milwaukee heated jackets was absolute trash. By far the worst heated jacket on the market. Battery was nearly the size of a baseball and if you sat on a bolstered seat of any kind, like in a vehicle, it literally hurt to wear.
Now they need to come out with heated under armour. Bought a cheap pair of Amazon and it's a million times more efficient then a jacket or hoodie both I own. I was using them ice fishing and just plugged into the top off with a 5.0 amp. It would last about 3 hours on high. Also super nice camping, I used a timer and plugged into that so you actually get woken up by the warmth super cozy
I am hoping they come out with a version of the workskin line that uses these slim M12 batteries though, the current models use the USB 3.0 batteries which I'm not a fan of.
Probably still going to cost an astronomical amount and only last 3 hours on high before burning out and breaking after a couple years like the old ones. got my Milwaukee jacket in 2020 and already burned out 3 batteries. started buying the Chinese off brand ones because they last longer and are more durable.
