This singer and his band Mudvayne kept me alive when I heard the track happy for the first time on the radio Rock 101 kufo I wish I could meet them and give them hugs and let them know they saved my life with their talent they helped me to feel something good when I had nothing left good to feel about. I've been a Mudvayne fan since I first heard forget to remember. I've been a Hellyeah fan since I heard alchohaulin ass. I'm just a Chad Gray fan I guess. I blast this shit at work and it gets me going and gets me through my shift every night. Forever a fan of both bands!

Hell the two members that were with him in Hellyeah have moved onto other projects. People clash and have differences of opinion, just keep hoping he throws out more great new music like he has been.

I’ve been a Mudvayne fan since L.D. 50 dropped, & after the band parted ways & Chad started Hellyeah I just couldn’t get into there stuff at the time, fast forward to when there Undeniable album dropped & I figured I’d give it a shot & loved almost every song on there. Chad’s just a hell of a frontman/songwriter & brings that emotion out in every song. Human & X are my favorite tracks on the record.
They really found their sound on 2014s Blood For Blood album.

I went to a hellyeah concert blood for blood and they where awesomeness they don't sound like their studio music they are fucking primal as hell chad screamed the whole show and the new album they have finally met their mark and come together can't wait to see them next month the direction they're heading now they're going to be heavier than mudvayne all these band members are iconic just let play people and enjoy so you don't miss out...
look up some of the early 2000's live shows with Chad and mudvayne. he can scream and make it work.

Mudvayne and Nothingface I think were better than Hellyeah because don't get me wrong I can still listen to them, but Hellyeah sometimes feel a little bit generic and bland. But they still have good songs such as this one Human.

Blood For Blood is Hellyeah's best album (in my opinion, I think most people would agree with me) If this song is a good indication of whats to come, I believe that Unden!able will become Hellyeah's greatest album yet, which I'm totally okay with.

Reading through all these posts makes me laugh, really fucking hard. One thing some folks need to understand is that when a band comes together like hellyeah, their going to sound like the band's they came from. The influence is from the former bands will ALWAYS come through in the new bands music. Pantera was and will always be a phenomenal band! Mudvane had some great songs. But hellyeah has just began to make their mark in music. Stop comparing them to the former bands and enjoy the hardcore riffs and melodic drum rolls.
Mudvayne had more than a few good tunes though
The point is, when a band breaks up the next band the singer fronts is bound to sound like the former. Just remember, their doing it because they enjoy what they do and want you/us to do the same. Pantera, Mudvane......are just starting a new chapter. Best advice ENJOY!

the first hell yeah album was very southern metal with a Pantera sound, the new album is more mudvayne. since mudvayne doesnt exist any more hella yeah has reincarnated as mudvayne. last time I saw mudvayne in concert wa a like 2010, he came on stage in a sasquatch costume then a year later he came in a clown costume. the shit was wild.

I'm so over people comparing hellyeah to mudvayne. If you don't like it don't FUCKING LISTEN and move the FUCK ON. This band has put out some killer music and they have great chemistry. Its awesome to see VP having a great time considering what hes been through in the past with losing dime. I highly suggest ya get to the live show if you are still getting over mudvayne. They parted ways how many years ago? Once again MOVE ON! Hellyeah puts on a killer live show and Chad is a killer singer! So instead of bashing and complaining, get your ass to a HELLYEAH show and get in the pit and rip it up!
