- Using the Porche 919 or another Group 1 or Vision Gran Turismo car, the $1,000,000 race at Spa becomes much easier to win. The endurance aspect and passive boost from the Porsche 919 make it stand out from the rest of the competition. Feel free to watch some of my other videos if you thought this one was helpful!

Also, the older endurance cars like the similar to the Jaguar XJR-9 are OP as well. They don't handle as well as modern endurance cars and aren't always available in the legend cars shop, but the game allows them to keep a lot more power. They can clock in faster lap times than the Porsche 919, but are harder to handle in the rain. I will likely post a tune for the XJR-9 soon.
Pro try the pagani with intermediate tyer i pass the second car by 1 min difference

Sauber C9
Its really a 1.5 mil race because its almost impossible to not get a clean race bonus
The Sauber Mercedes C9 is also an excellent candidate. You can easily lap in the 2:18s while running fuel mixture at 5, running at 1 you can easily lap in the 2:11s-2:13s. Not that you need to save fuel, because the tank is large enough for the fuel to last at least 9/10 laps (fuel mixture at 1). Running with fuel mixture at 5/6 can last up to 15-17 laps. You can easily do a 1 stop, provided that the weather allows that.
I never thought to use Gr1 cars! Til this point I've kept to the Gr2 GT500 models like the GTR and NSX, which easily destroys the Gr3 cars in the race. With the prototype I imagine it's even easier
They've started to balance it more but the GR.1 cars are still beasts! Gr.2 ones are maybe just slightly worse, but still great options!
I’ve been using the f1500 t-a tuned down with some ballast and lowered the power evenly. Pretty much impossible to lose. Rain normally comes in between 7th and 12th lap. Change to wets and keep them on until you need to refuel then change to inters. Won the race by lapping everyone atleast 2-4 times. Gets about 9 laps on fuel 1 which is all you need because you’ll be in for tyres anyway. You get the bonus of driving in the dark while its raining as it has no headlights 😂 i use psvr2 with it so its easy to see the track. Don’t know about doing it on screen though.
There are only 2 cars I use for Spa and Also for Sardegna which is the Mazda LM55 VGT and the Mazda 787B. They're both good cars and are both easy for me when it comes to fuel efficiency.
(Question: How come the RX-Vision GT3 Concept is less fuel efficient than the 787B despite having the same R26B Rotary as the 787B?)
I drive this 3 Times per Day and i ALWAYS get Heavy Rain but thats Good as Long as You have Heavy Rain Tires.

The best car is literally the 962, you can do like 11-12 laps on mixture 1 and doing 2.12 laptimes.

Yeah, with the new update its barely possible to do a one stop, because they heavily increased tire wear. Mazda 787B is nuts though for sure!
Since recent update ride height does not affect pp so may as well slam it as low down as it will go .
Yep that's what I just found out today. Unfortunately it does have to lose quite a bit of power but it's still very competitive. I could still hit 2:18s at Spa with it.
Mclaren F1, 97 kills. I run 2:12’s, it gets good enough fuel efficiency to wait for tire changes.

I’m currently trying to crack 1:35 at sardegna. I’ve got 1:36.130 so far and I know I can crack it.
Thats insane, I've never gotten a time under 1:20 (except when the tomahawk was legal lol). That means it must corner well too then if it can get that quick of a time. When the car's back in the shop I'll try and break 1:15 too.
Also did you mean 2:12s before for Spa, I'm guessing you did, but if you actually meant 1:12s... I guess I'm just slow
GT7 version 1.27 gives 820.26 PP with this setup. I needed to set output adjustment to the lowest (70) and power restrictor to 90 to get down to 800pp. I'm a mediocre driver and only managed a 2:24 with this setup (lean 1, tcs 1, no driving assists except ABS). I think that's mainly because top speed is a measily 240kph. I only did one 24h race, though.
I prefer Nissan R92CP with which I can get 02:16 without issues and around 2:12 best time. If you need an always buyable option (the R92CP is from legend dealership), then I prefer the Nissan GT-R GT500 '08.
Regarding clean race: I believe the only way to lose it is by ignoring a yellow flag. Other than that I never managed to lose it. Even when I yeeted AI drivers off course, crashed so hard my motor broke and more, I never lost it.
Goddamn this Car is Fuel Efficent. I use the Nissan R92 and it can Go 14 Laps without Refill. Even Downtuned to 313 HP it still very Good.
My R92CP tune for WTC800 has 559hp and it handles like a dream

Once i turn mine up to 315 HP it is over 799 PP
for some reason i cut a bunch of corners ( especially the chicane at the end 😂) and got penalties but somehow i got a clean race bonus lol

You can only lose your clean race bonus in this race if you overtake a car on a yellow which is basically never. Smash as many walls as you want haha
@@kyleblackburne2870 yea but for tokyo expressway you cannot hit other ai cars as you will lose the clean race bonus which is really annoying
I've put the exact same setup on the car as you did in your video and it was saying my setup was at a 820PP

Ive copied this tuning exactly as it shows but my performance points is 802.00 but the video shows his as 800.00 what do i do
Since there was a new update about a week ago some of the pp of certain cars were adjusted. If you don't want to lose any power just add more rear downforce, mess with the camber (or other suspension bits), or move the ballast all the way forward. Hope this helps!!
I use Porsche Living Legend. 3 times Pit in Spa
This car is also very fuel efficient and has 976 Hp --> downgrade it to 839 Hp
I love using that car, I usually use it at Sardenga but I used it at spa a few times too!
The only way to lose the clean race bonus in this race is if you overtake during a yellow flag which is basically never.

@Broady Taylor That's also a good option! I used the similar Supra GT500 which didn't run quite as fast as the Porsche 919 overall (especially not in the wet), but was still fun to drive!
@@BigfootBEANS The NSX needed little to no changes, and has the huge fuel tank like the 919, I think I did 1 stop
Oh yeah, the cars in that Era in class are perfect, I think I even upgraded the Supra a little to get it up to 800. Still won by a lap or two as well!

The car can still be tuned down and is still decent, it just loses a bit of power so you'll have to increase the fuel setting during the race. I'll be making a new video at some point to show the changes. As an upside you can now slam the car down completely, so that should help it corner better!
interesting ive been using my rs5 dtm just lower a few ticks off the ecu and it dusts the track

I think they did add it somewhat recently (maybe a month or two ago). It is my favorite race tho, the rain always makes the AI do something stupid lol.

Yes, I just set the top speed to be 320, I didn't manually adjust any gear beyond that. Should hit top of fifth gear around 160 mph down the Eau Rogue Straight.

@Riese79 It actually almost always gives it to you unless you ignore a yellow flag. I've gotten tons of car collision and corner cutting penalties and still get the clean race bonus.
@@BigfootBEANS the last time i tried the race and the Rain began, I span on the last straight.
And i took me 5 minutes and many many spins to enter the pit.
And i was about 100 meters away.
Since then, I Didnt try again. Because it felt so scripted.
I will try It with a High downforce car again.
@Riese79 Yeah bad rain always comes around 40min left and 15 min left. Sometimes its possible to get through it with racing hards, but it's usually best to use intermediate tires once the rain starts.
A high downforce car is a great idea too!
How to use boost? is it automated or do you have to do something yourself?
Try the newer Gr 2 Audi-- sooooo stable and decent efficiency 👍

Also with these settings gotta I assume due to thr ballast car stops accelerating at 203km/h which is 3/4 into 4th Geer snd struggles to grt any higher going down the long first straight

I believe you might have racing medium tires on it, that also brings the tune I have to 809.96 PP. I recommend using racing hard tires, you don't really lose that much time to racing mediums and they last a lot longer in the endurance race. Also you get to keep a lot more horsepower. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more issues!

Yeah you've got me stumped, all I run for assists is traction control (1) and abs, I dont thunk that should affect it though. I hope the hard tires got it a little closer to sub 800, but if you need to lose more pp just move the ballast all the way to the front and check if you bought any turbocharger or anything. Do all the hp, weight, and acceleration numbers match on the left?

Tried this. Couldnt get the car under 820pp without reducing the power. This then mean tthat he car was uncompetitive.
My only issue with this tune (don’t get me wrong I love it!) it’s just once you hit 4th gear or 5th you lose time because the gears are wayyy too long. I just don’t know how to adjust them right to shorten them so I’m not losing so much power.
You're totally right, I have a bad habit of never adjusting the gearing after upgrading or scaling a car down. If you change the Top Speed setting in the setup sheet to be lower it should help with this (or make the final gear number higher)! I'm curious, let me know how much quicker it lets you go per lap, my guess is a quarter to a half second!

Drive straight after the first right into the chicane. It's the most irritating pit lane of all tracks in the game though

I've heard that the Zonda is really good, I have yet to use it though

@@BigfootBEANS my fastest lap time was a 2:15, average 2:18, 19, wet obviously slower. I'm usually 3 laps ahead of everyone else at the finish if I race hard.
Yeah, dang, the Reb Bull is rapid I just took it to Sardenga and got 1:38 flat on the 5 fuel setting. It's by far the best handling 800pp car I've driven

Nah, this tune is junk since the update. Getting outrun by everything on the straights, just not worth it anymore.
It should still run really well in the corners, I think it only got slightly debuffed. If it's that bad for ya, just get in one of the Group C cars, Redbull X2019, or try out the Mclaren MP4 F1 car in the legends shop!
@@BigfootBEANS to be fair, calling it junk was a bit unfair. It does the job, just requires a certain driving style to make it work. The fuel level certainly makes things more relaxed.
