You have complicated it too much. It can be done in much easier way and can be Dynamically used. I hope next time you will not waste much time in it. Also, some things are not realistic. As the treads outer periphery improperly constrained with balustrade. Also, in real world tread doesn't have circular ring as it will increase the weight of central pole and requires a lot of weld/filler materials to fix it with pole. Use a simple Zig to support the tread to weld. Try to improve it. Believe me I have designed more complex design than this along with balustrade. All good!
