I don't think I have watched a Gary Oldman performance I didn't like. The man plays bad guys all the time, and they are always different in great ways.
Matilda pretty much got Leon killed by the time she's old enough to understand what happened she'll feel extremely guilty for what she did. Also she'll be a successful hit woman too bad Leon didn't live long enough to finally bang her by the time she turns 19 or 21 lol.
Depends what the dope is and the starting quantity but they said it was 99% pure dope and it looked like he had at least a half kilo when they found it. A half kilo of pure dope turns into 1.5 kilos or more or resale dope. That's $50,000 - $70,000 of pure profit even if you don't break it down into small quantities and sell it retail. Now say you are doing this every week. Not worth getting your family killed over but it happens in real life all the time. Guys holding big weight for cartels usually don't make a ton of money, $5,000-10,000 a month. Nothing relative to what they could make if they skim some of the supply, so they do and end up getting killed.
@@KisstheReviews But you were cool with the hitman teaching a little girl how to kill, or Gary Oldman's character murdering children deemed acceptable for theaters. The moral compass of someone who watched too many hollywood movies I guess...
Man I always thought the same Shit about this movie even as a kid just couldn’t articulate. The whole weird fantasy about this film always bothered me, especially now as an adult wanting to watch it with my kids it’s awkward af
Yeah, as long as it's just a story that makes us sympathize with a killer who's teaching a little girl how to kill (and it's showed positively, since that's the way they're bonding) that is fine, but the pseudo love story between them ? That's just wrong lol. Anglophones are so prudes ( ̄ლ ̄๑) Art doesn't have to be moral.
It's a good movie, really! Not great, but good. However, I must say I have some big issues with this movie. Imagine: A cold-blooded extremely ascetic assassin who always drinks milk like a madman! 2L. a day? And his best friend is a potted plant? WTF!? That's crazy! And he can't read and write? Yeah... Luc Besson had a very strange vision about this main character. The second issue is that weird sexual tension. You can say for sure that Mathilda was actually ready-ready to f*ck with Leon. She was hugely in love. Thank God that didn't happen! But it was very weird, uncompfortable to watch. *** My corrections would be like this: 1. No sexual subtext at all, just like a father-daughter relationship. 2. Even more crazy Stansfield. 3. More intense cat and mouse game between Leon/Mathilda and Stansfield and his gang. 4. Less "war" at the end of the movie. 5. The movie should be shorter, not 2h. 10m.(international version) but let's say 1h. 40m.?

Right?! He’s amazing…and my favorite Harry Potter character
@@KisstheReviews Mine too! Prisoner of Azkaban was definitely my favorite HP movie and book because of Serius Black alone.
Big Facts!!
Agreed! It's that Mickey Mouse line that still freaks me out lol. Like bro, calm down lol.
I love you guys❣🙏⭐
We love you!!
Great review Guys
Thank you so much, sir!!
I Love this film and The fifth Element both don’t need a sequel and were made by Luc Besson the Director.
Interesting! I’ll have to do a Besson deep dive.

That was educational AF! Thank you for commenting.
Curious if you guys watched the directors cut or not, cuz the uncomfortable scenes of love are even more in thst one
Ugh…no, thank goodness. I was uncomfortable enough with the light pedophilia deemed acceptable for theaters.

Right?! I wonder if our parents thought this way when they saw it or if it was just something ignored bc it was so awkward?
