I wish a label had it instead of her. She's not releasing anything. Just OD represses and merch drops. Hopefully in the next 10 years we hear mv2 and s&c but I doubt it
Same here Brotha. When my co-worker called me on New years Eve 2020 thru a text, I literally had to pull over while driving home. I was 2min away but still I had to pull aside so I could process it followed by my mourning process. DOOM and Ghostface Killah are both tied at number 1/2 interchangeably as my favorite hip hop artists of all time.
DOOM aint released that record because he owed music to some label he ran off a deal from. That's why, if you notice, all the works he did towards the later years of his life was guest versus. Guest versus fall under the primary artists label, and the label DOOM owed couldn't snatch the rights I hope DOOM's wife isnt stuck with that deal too, or we never getting any unreleased DOOM 😭
Yeah man. What does that mean he owed music to a label??? Like he could be under a contract after getting money that he can't release any other music before releasing songs with them? I don't know about the Music Industry like that....Let us know!
@@luthervaughn1 I don't think bullshit. The only "source" I can point you guys towards is an interview with an Adult Swim executive who was responsible for arranging and putting out the DANGERDOOM album. Tl;dr: Adult Swim released DANGERDOOM and it did great. Then they were gonna put out little loose singles like the Missing Notebook Rhymes, but as they were releasing these songs, the Adult Swim executive would get emails and contact from lawyers from an unnamed record label that basically owns anything DOOM puts out, as well as emails from other producers who never got paid and/or approved the song's release. It's likely that this same record label also owns all the DOOMSTARKS stuff and is why it hasn't seen the light of day.
@@luthervaughn1most artist contact is for a certain amount of albums, which once 360 deals came about started including all music. Not saying this person is correct but if he owed music from his contract, anything he released under that deal would be owned mostly by the label, but that’s when the question becomes, what good is music if no one ever hears it.
Posthumous releases suck. If he never saw fit to release the project, it was for a reason. Hopefully they never put it out. You never know whether he wouldve changed anything or added/removed stuff, or if he just flat out wasn't proud of it.
Pretty early on? 😂 he didn’t get any Doom beats until More Fish…at that point the Danger Doom shit is already 3 years old…and Danger Doom ain’t early either 😅
DOOM has some beats on fishscale which was a year after. Ghostface was also on the first dangerdoom project as a featured rapper. Fishscale was also the first time, DOOM's production and beats were on a big mainstream album

DOOM won’t ever be forgotten. His work will be cherished for decades to come
ALL CAPS WHEN YOU SPELL THE MAN'S NAME
Hearing that DOOMs wife has all the recording, makes me happy. I know it's in good hands and when we need to heard DOOM again we will 😊
Or maybe he told her personally to never release them or to release them a certain way
we’re never getting those recordings bro
Even if she never release them it’s nice to know his music is owned by a loved one and not some greedy label looking for a quick buck
@@HerEvilTwinthat’s not always the case, a lot of people at labels love music and are fans of the artist they do work for.

No celeb deaths ever hit me as hard as DOOM
This one and Kobe plus his daughter bothered me out every celebrity that has passed and that’s rare for me
DOOM wasn’t a celebrity. He was DOOM
DOOM and Norm are the two hardest deaths for me
