Early Bird - A 16mm short film

I have a fondness for shooting on film, and for this project, I chose the Arri 416 16mm film camera to imbue a raw handheld style. I love the texture and the artifacts it produces. Filmed over the course in one day, I wrote and directed a story that delves into the complexities of a couple navigating loss and a shift in power dynamics.
