Kinda odd that PvZ Battle for Neighbor Ville didn’t add a new Plant character to even the playing field.
theres 3 that are almost finished in the files i believe, they just felt like they had to drop it and run as fast as possible which is really weird
Yep there was a character basically completely done. Besides, the ability icons, iceberg lettuce. They could’ve at least added that character before they quit.
@@axoshlotl2255 yeah I don’t remember what the other one was, but there was also one called Barry brigade, which had a character of four characters in one who were able could fuse into one entity to like for example turn into a berry tank and stuff like that it I believe, was supposed to be the plants equivalent to the imp
They actually had 1 almost done and another earlier in the games lifespan that was scrapped
@@stargazer-eliteyeah honestly watching videos on iceberg lettuce shows that it was basically finished gameplay wise.
It had finished animations and all it just need simple stuff like icons,death animations and such.
And this was before wildflower and TV were released so I guess some where in development they realized the game was kinda dying out with people hating it so they stopped and just released the same character on both sides.
I imagine they planned Iceberg lettuce would kinda fill the role wizard had but for the plants which is sad.
I just hope EA can see that there are still thousands of Gw fans that would love a new gw game.

I literally cannot explain how GW1 is so nostalgic and brings back so many good memories, playing it on my Xbox 360, Xbox one. Wish we could go back to those times, amazing time to be a kid.

Fun fact: Pvz heroes recently added friend lists and the ability to replay events when you fail, so pvz heroes actually still updates

Actually loved the original Garden Warfare far more then the sequel. The sequel is good but there were things done in it that I didn't care for and the first game I found being able to play for hours on on end.
For me too, gw1 will stay on top for me

I agree with the bfn rating, it had good changes, and potential, but they did not commit with the game. I miss it soooo much that game was great when they were commited with the community talks and stuff.

BFN coulda been great, I had high hopes but I waited a couple months to see if it was worth buying, the lack of variants was an immediate killer for me, I was so looking forward to me and my two friends playing acorn and just wreaking havoc as Toxic, Fire and Electro acorns, sadly that never happened and the one of us who got the game refunded it immediately

Hella respect to the 10/10 GW2 rating, only thing is that old Garden warfare 1 had tons of good maps man, now we have time park which doesnt come as close as the sunflower lookout station port or whatever, that maps end game was SICK!
If they had updated bfn more, it could have easily reached 9/10. But I’m very surprised to see that even Zackscott acknowledges it divided the fan player base. Both games have their ups and downs, but I wish bfn didn’t get as much hate as it did

I mean yeah Guess that just devs decided to make it an even playing field with removing the variants for the characters.
The removal of variants was such a breath of fresh air away from so many cluttered characters with either different weapons or little to no difference that made balancing nigh impossible to nail down correctly. I feel that if upgrades had downsides and gave your character a unique look depending on what you equipped (vampiric could give you fangs, refreshing revive could give you a reviving medal, low life could give you green eyes, etc), they would be praised much more. So many people praise gw2 heavily on the variants aspect so much it just looks like an overrated thing just cause it was content or entirely new looks the way that bfn outfits tried. GW2 is like the jock who just flashes good looks while BFN is like the nerd that actually does the homework and had a good road planned

I feel like the upgrades in bfn are a compensation for the no variants which I like.
Personally I would play both of them just because I've never played them personally.
@@humanperson620 I’d say if you favor content and variety that vastly changes, you go for GW2. If you like fast paced games and mastery that only requires little adjustments, you go for BFN
Honestly I miss neighbourville despite its flaws it's actually kinda fun
I know I am late but I think that too it wasn't perfect but was it fun. Sometime ago I went back to the game and finally platinumed it and got 100% of everything in the game

I was a young kid who loved PvZ, and I would play it on my parent's phones whenever I got the chance. When I couldn't do that, I hopped on this alarm clock device (called the Sony Dash) which had RUclips and watched all your Pvz videos.
Seeing you make something like this really brings me back. I rate your channel a 10/10

I will dream as well. GW 1 was a big game in my childhood and GW 2 was amazing. I play GW 2 every once in a while but they need to release a 3rd. Need that fun and nostalgia back in my life…

The original is a 9 for me because there is a achievement that requires 3 diamonds in lucky spin and it is like I think 0.19% chance
Bfn didn't get the love it deserved, it could have been so much more, it could have been the best online shooter but it got closed down early.😢

GW1 was such an addicting game for it's release, GW2 an upgraded sequel better than the sequel which is rare, but BFN was such a HUGE step-back. Fun to play, but a title that didn't pull me in like 1 & 2

still sad that PvZ Heroes doesn't have an update anymore, hope they should also update it with new plants or zombies
For PvZ Adventures, it was a good FB game at the time and I'd say the best Popcap FB game (Zuma Blitz is close). PvZ Adventures combines PvZ with the typical tower defense games and is quite good if you have friends or joined a facebook page for it.
The difficulty spike is noticable in after world 4 but you'll need to dedicate a lot of time to developing plants and helping out friends.
8/10 for me
I wish they added all the old maps to GW2,
Imagine a garden warfare classic playlist with all the old maps but you can play with every character instead of just the original 8 heros like in the wallnut hills port.

PvZGW 1 is my whole childhood. I spent SO MUCH TIME on it. I literally got all skins on 3 accounts. Played it at my friend's at first, then got it on my own, played with friends then carried on my own. I could play it forever. Ah those times

I still play PVZ heroes. Even when I stop playing for months at a time, I always find myself going back to it long after it stopped updating
Playing PVZ, PVZ2, GW and GW2 will always be some of my favorite gaming memories. Hopefully GW and GW2 will get the player base of their hay day because I want to play it again!

Out of all the Plants vs Zombies games, my two favorite ones are the first two Garden Warfare games. I used to play both of them back in 2014-2017. Those were great times
