I can already tell this is going to be a good one. Air compressor restorations are my favorite. Looking forward to part 2. BTW I love how in your videos you can hear the birds outside. Keep up the good work. And happy birthday.
I was surprised you powder coated the flywheel, but painted the casing. Powder coating the caseas well would make it look great years longer. Thumbs Up!
This is just a suggestion as someone who watched a lot of different types of restoration channels, but take it with a grain of salt: I think you shouldn’t break up videos into 2+ parts unless it’s a major project, and you should speed up the videos just a TINY bit, as it feels you’re going a little slow (but that could jsut be me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ). The reason I say this is because if people see your video is recommended, and there are multiple parts, but they all haven’t been released yet, people are less likely to click on the video or watch longer. I feel most people watch it to see the end transformation from old to restored, so to see something partially restored, and then have the video and is like pseudo blue balls, if that mss makes sense. I really enjoy your channel, the attention to detail reminds me alot of my mechanics (king of general restoration), so I really enjoy this
I hear what you are saying, it would have been one video, but I am waiting on some parts and I took a day or 2 to myself since it was my bday, and you know the youtube algorithm likes to dump you in the bin if you don't upload. So now its a 2 part video.
Hello, I have the same air compressor with motor 1,5 kw and 50 liters reseiver. Maybe you know how many litres per minute makes this compressor head? My compressor takes 4 minute to make 9 at. Its not too long?
I was curious. What is the cleaner that you use in the bowl with the brush? Depending on the item I use brake clean, acetone or carburetor cleaner in an ultrasonic unit.
@@AJRestoration Omg, where do you buy gasoline in SA? I only find petrol here.. (j/k). I buy a stuff called Prepsol, and Mr Muscles Kitchen Cleaner, and it might be a kitchen cleaner but I have never seen anything get rid of oil and grease like Mr Muscles, it even gets rid of that sticky baked on oil inside valve covers and sumps.
@@AJRestoration Hi. Could it be some old Hammeritestuff? I`m asking because I hate a lot of this new paintshitstuff they sell today. They have removed this old good stuff from a lot of things in these days. Thanks for Your good videos.
Question. Im looking at a used 80 Gallon CH air compressor with a tf061903av pump. The oil in the pump looks good. The electric motor is being rebuilt as they over greased the bearings, so I cant run it to ensure it works. When I spin the pump I can hear it compressing air but then I hear air either coming out/in of the oil plug vent which is almost a pvc valve. is this normal?
Dagsê AJ. ek is n bejaarde ou man van Durban ek hoe baie van jou manier van werk . Dit laat my dink aan my self ek werk amper net soos jy. Hoop jy het lekker verjaar en was baie bederf. Kan nie wag vir die kompressor nie . Mooi middag vir jou
Baie dankie! ek hoop ek kry die ding weer om mooi te werk! Parte is skaars. Ek moes maar my eie bier koop en koek hahahaha. Maar dit was baie lekker dankie!
.ii.lke the touch you are using is it a propane style and where can find One of those see you later young man 😎 when you get done with this air compressor reverberation job
May I ask why you put the screw driver in the middle of the puller. I'm not second guessing I seriously want yo know 😁. Great job as always. Happy belated birthday.
@@AJRestoration The reason I asked what the background noise was is because I couldn't identify it. Now I know its rain . Theres a difference between an honest question and a sarcastic question?

powdercoating the casting would cause it to overheat.

Gasoline/petrol.

can you stop flame torch, very noise
Honey have you seen my coffee pot?
I have a frigidaire 76L544 air compressor, but lacks the motor and need help locating said motor.
I don't have tools or skills to improvise.
What is the paint that struggled so hard with sandblast and paint stripper? We all need to know.
I have no idea, but damn that was some tough paint!

It is propane indeed, you can find it in any hardware store. They come in all shapes and sizes.
@@AJRestoration thanks for your help with this matter young man 😎
Why don’t you use an impact
Do you have a pet bird in the workshop? We can hear it singing in the background. Will you show it to us sometime?
Hi helen you should wait till he answers one questin before askingthe 2nd
Its just the birds in the background, I don't keep pet birds I think it's cruel to keep them caged.

Muito bom !

It gives me better grip ont the puller. Sometimes the puller needs to be held firm.
Так все ничего, но нехватает перфекционизма, лоска.
Can you tell me what model it is
I sadly have no idea what model it is, sorry.

Hi AJ bly om weer iets van jou te sien wag vir die kompressor om klaar te maak
