@@micsunday14 this is related to Dolby vision which in most of not all cases are from LG tv’s and people playing on pc. If you’re playing on console, this is a none issue.
I've been looking around the community for a bit to know what to anticipate from the PC version of PGA Tour '24, and for an Early Access experience before the relevant Driver Updates come for Intel, AMD, and Nvidia in the next few days, I can comfortably admit that I like what I'm seeing; anybody with a 1080 Ti, Radeon VII, or Arc A770 (0I6 GB) will probably be able to run this with ease and it's welcoming to notice that elements such as Ultra Widescreen and Automatic DualShock Detection are available from the get~go without having to do any kind of extensive tweaking, truly proof to me that Electronic Arts optimized this title with the PC demographic in mind. Now, I have firm intentions to help out the Modding community early on, especially on the front of File Dissection: Based on your experience with it so far (and for anybody else who reads this, feel free to share your insights too), how easy do you think it'll be to do complex changes such as implementing Reshade, adding Extra Custom Character Slots over the Four that we already have, Course Creation, and Sound Effect/Music Swapping?
Oh man I have no experience with modding but if you head over to the OS forums someone in there had already mentioned making mods for the game so I assume based on that, that it should be easy to mod. I’d personally love to see some more presentation mods like NBC rather than the default EA Sports stuff which is kinda lame.
@@micsunday14 that’s unfortunate. I posted a new vid. If stutters are there, I don’t notice them and if they are truly there, it doesn’t compromise my gameplay.
@@EpiCz_Izzy I like the game. There are just pretty significant frame stutters. The more you play it. The more you get use to it. But it needs to fixed
Never played golf on PC until this one. But to answer your question, no mouse movement from what I saw in the menus. You can however use keyboard controls.
How do you have ultra wide running? I have a 32:9 monitor and the max resolution I can select is 1440p. It looks horrible for me because I either play with this terrible stretched resolution or I play in a tiny windowed mode
Yeah bro I got the same problem! Hoping they fix it soon! 2560x 1440 is all you can do. Run it through a TV for now if you can. It works instead of tiny window 😢
Seeing as they developers only have to design and animate one player to be on screen at any given time,you would expect that character to be amongst the best video game representations of a human we've ever seen. But no, actual golfers are a bit janky looking and the animation of them is even worse. Nice scenery though.
How is this game on PC, I am trying to figure out if i wanna pick it up on Xbox Series X or PC running a 3080Ti, please let me know what your thoughts are ok?
Good thing about PC, steam and epic will let you get refunds with less than 2 hours playtime. I am going to try it out and refund if i need to then buy on ps5.
I think it's a patch or two and perhaps a new driver from being near perfect. As a non-official early access day one release, I think it runs fine. Just be realistic with your settings. I'd say with your 3080ti, play the game using high vs ultra settings. The difference is essentially negligible and I only run ultra because I have the 4090. I also tried a few minutes of the SX version via the trial. It's locked 30FPS but for a golf game, I think that's fine and the game looks great IMO. Too bad EA didn't add a performance mode. Speaking of which, PC version could benefit from DLSS.
Not difficult at all on its own. I can’t comment much on 2K as I only played a bit during the free weekend trial. I already have 50 hours of gameplay in EA and I have my golfer at a 92 ovr after upgrades within attributes and purchasing legendary items with in game currency.
I get this weird glitch where it wants to use my keyboard as the controller so i have to pause then return to game so it goes back to controller.... anyone else get this?
@@Circletakesthejake Oh ok glad you somewhat figured it out. I’d say rumble isn’t important. I’m using a dualsense and I actually haven’t really noticed the rumble.

This was at early access. The latest patch has better performance. Less gpu usage. Not perfect but good and gameplay is not at all affected.

@@EpiCz_Izzy playing on a 13700k and 4090 with SSD, and it stutters on various events like, teeing off, ball landing etc. pretty shit if you ask me.

It’s just a setting that’s available for me. Maybe 32:9 isn’t supported but 21:9 is? I’d check with EA support. Sorry I can’t help.
For me stuttering when the ball hit the ground mostly, with rx6700xt and ryzen 5600x , 16 gb 3200 mhz, know anybody why? Heavy frame drops always !!!

10 hr trial if you have ea play or game pass. 2k feels responsive and smooth, this game feels clunky and odd
