Wow never knew this album existed. I first heard of the band and thought what a great title for a band. When I listened to the album I thought 'not for me'. This is such a change in terms of style. Really enjoy it, another great find.
Ides of March are like a cross between Blood, Sweat and Tears and Chicago. Jazzy like BS and T with Jim Peterick sounding a lot like David Clayton-Thomas, but in "Tye Die Princess" there is a section very much in the style of Robert Lamm's writing. The track "Superman" is a bit of a remake of "Vehicle" but their driving rhythms and brass arrangements are great.
Great tracks TY
Awesome time in history and music ✅✅✅✅
