Diplomacy lifestyle is really interesting. I never bothered getting to know my vassals, neighbours, liege etc, I always focused on everything else. Basically cared nothing for others. But under this system, taking the time to know who to sway and befriend, who to give gifts to, using activities to network, you start to become very popular and you get no wars, murder attempts and you get perks like money gifts if your treqsury goes negative. People step up to help and unite behind you, you get elected to higher titles, bet better marriages and basically play the role of a uniter. I always underestimated this way of playing, but its quite fun.
