This is the most excited about pre-cons I've ever been I'm a sucker for retro frames and having it be Misha & Urza is the best I'll probably keep these decks as is but still thinking about adding all the Urza lands & all the new Urza's from the main set in Urza's deck & all the new Misha's in Misha's deck just for flavor alone.
I had NO IDEA all the cards came in the old border. I'm 100% buying this
I bought both, keeping them as is because they are beautiful. Bought a bundle to store them in, sleeved and deck boxed. Worth it? Yeah:)
I was on the fence over the commander decks but the old borders has sold me on them, definitely a purchase for me. Only real gripe would be the lack of blueprint cards but not even close to a deal breaker.
I dont even want to change anything out because it looks so fire 100% retro

These are excellent! I love seeing old border! Yeah scrap is just there to count as an artifact for sac purposes

The retro borders do so much for even the lackluster, super digital artwork. Everything pops because the warmer, less neutral/rich tone of retro borders compliments the art. All of it. Never understood the change and why it stuck around when the art is what has historically drawn SO many players/collectors including myself into it all. Absolutely stunning, had no issue dumping a ton of money into this set.
Wow, I didn’t realize the entire decks were retro framed. Pretty sweet. Probably part of why they’re so expensive. Very cool, thanks for sharing.
nice foil bauble. I got ornithopters in both of mine. I'm definitely keeping mine together, they were a blast to play and they just look so pretty

I love how you slide past some of the best cards like Shimmer dragon and Kayla's music box as if they are chaff.

I think I'd buy these just because the card quality is actually what it should be. I think we need to bring the old boarders back.

The collector sample packs are so meh, but not going to complain about a throw in like that.
I thought for years the precons should include some kind of seeded.
I guess these technically are, but not quite really what I had in mind.
Scraps exist for Farid to fuel his abilities or count for affinity. Very excited to get these decks next week!

I played against the Mishra deck last night actually and the deck's ability to create manna and artefacts is absolutely bonkers. Even after using 3 separate board wipes, it still lived. Only baiting it to attack, drain its mana then resurrect everything I had in the grave was enough to beat it. I'm sad that there's no Green/Blue commander deck though because in the draft matches I played, they went together really well.

First deck got me wondering if I should get the product. Second deck with the "darker" print just stopped my hype. Just wotc saving ink and covering color ink with black ink, it looks awful, I had a few of those. Unless you are playing in the bright sun light, those cards, to me, are terrible to look at. Nice unboxing, thanks for sharing.

Hey, I pulled an Extended art Diabolic Intent out of my Urza Commander sampler
The Mishra deck is rude, the Urza deck seems less powerful
I think MH2 and TSR were the best Retro frames done recently

Force of Will is one of the few cards that can handle that. 😂
I think the best pre-con commander decks released this year was the SNC commander decks

I will say the power of the Mishra deck in my personal experience has trampled over the Urza deck. In all my play testing with my friends it was like 4 out of 5 games we played Mishra won it pretty handedly
Really? Urza has been 6-0 vs mishra in our home games…mishra is too slow setting up.
In 4 player games mishra has failed better than urza but neither have won. Mishra has way better reprints etc but deck hasn’t impressed, I look forward to upgrading both.

I am so swapping some of these old boarder with some of my cards from my urza lord high artificer tron deck
I hate that I have cards that I want to add to the decks but they aren't old border and I don't want to have different types of border for this specific deck

By far the best out-of-the-box precons to come out together. They are quite strong and really fun to play.

The collector samples seldom seem to have anything worthwhile. They're almost predisposed to having bulk rares, from my experience
I highly disagree. Nothing in these precons are anything special exept the retro frames. Well happy if people like it, but it feels like a missed opportunity to me.

Sometimes, people DO actually get legit excited about stuff (and a lot of these cards do look really dope in the retro frames). PoA is definitely critical of the cards he opens, so I don't think this is artificial enthusiasm at all.

I preordered the instant i noticed it was 100% retro frame. Last time i bought magic product was 5-6 years ago. Of course some of us are mad excited about this product.
