This is my favourite lesson so far, and I've watched them all up to this point. This really puts perspective on how arbitrary the price can be compared to a stock's intrinsic value. I loved the part where you explained that such a tiny proportion of people trading the stocks are responsible for current trading price. I've never invested in stocks before but I'm going to try to master all these lessons before I do. Thank you again for imparting your wisdom sir!!
+Elliot Brown Another thing I have to say, briefly, is that once you've explained all these lessons they seem so ridiculously simple! It's mostly terminology that keeps these concepts so seemingly arcane. I guess the hard work is in researching exhaustively a plethora of companies out there and making sure they stack up to the concepts learned in these lessons. Currently reading An Intelligent Investor and these lessons are great study aid.
This is glorious, I've been looking for "is investing in penny stocks worth it?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Diyillian Dumbfounded Dominance - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one off product for discovering how to making your money double or triple in a day without the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got great success with it.
Every week I make a suggestion to my favorite discord to add to the stock education channel . Thank you for these videos. Liked Subscribed and Suggested!
Some questions. If there's a high volume would it mean that a lot of people sold or bought their shares? or is it both? Secondly, this might be a personal question but do you personally generate a lot of income for yourself? Do you have enough income that to the point it'll pay you in retirement? You are an amazing teacher, and I have learned so much from these videos. I think I speak for everyone when I say, that everyone is grateful for these videos that explain difficult concepts easily.
I just wanted to write you to thank you not only for this video but your channel and your free cores (that I thought was going to be expensive as all get out )
Hi Preston, Given the different debt/equity ratios between industries and between companies in the same industry what in your view is an acceptable debt/equity ration for a bank?
What if there are no more outstanding share left. ? How can you buy if no other are willing to sell.? If i trade in market price who buys my stock. Company or another trader?
Excellent video, As a beginner, I’ve come to realize that experience beats hardwork, I made weak profit investing on my own, but since the past 2months I’ve been investing with the guidance of a professional, i’ve made over $375,000 Profit using a capital of $120,000 the market makers/liquidity providers who are the so called "SMART MONEY" are in the business of taking money from the "DUMB MONEY" (retail traders like you and I). They do so by manipulating the forex market, creating stop hunts on liquidity zones and using chart patterns to mess with our emotions. Now 95% of traders don't trade inline with the market makers or think like them, that's why they frequently lose money. The only way to be successful in this business is trading like the market makers so u can join the 5% smart money in this industry. my broker Mr Carlton Jefferson always say this to me , i should note , no one can be a successful trader without the guide of a good broker, someone that has a good knowledge and the best strategy to earn you good profit in return , someone that can guide and teach you how the market grows , that's a word from a professional, i will recommend him here to anyone interested , invest in yourself today to secure a better tomorrow contact him via mail. . . I'm watching this while in a confused state of mind. I don't know anything about the stock market but I want to learn. This is going to be a long journey :(
In short volume is just an past tense analysis of the company pretty much let’s you know if it’s popping or nah lol 😂 then you say hmmm damn so many people are interested in this stock and let’s you know if you should trade it for short term or not to make a buck lol
Amazing videos! ***** Very helpful and saves a lot of time. Great work - Much appreciated! I have a question, though - You mentioned a 'Debt to Equity Ratio' of 2 for finance sector is extremely low, what is a fair 'Debt to Equity Ratio' for cement sector? In fact, I'd like to know your opinion on fair 'Debt to Equity Ratio' for all sectors. Please advise.
Hi! Is it possible that the increasing stock volume would move stock price to go up? and is there any case where the stock volume increases but the stock price didnt move that much?
i would suggest avoiding use of standard reference numbers like D/E < 0.5 and to actually research the industry average yourself. the courses here give a very basic outline of benjamin graham's and warren's opinions that are for the most part, dated. ratios will change as market conditions change so ratios like these are often much more useful when comparing to industry averages and understanding what is going on in that particular sector or the economy as a whole
Understanding a good trading strategy is a basic concept in the trading world, but a very important one. knowing the Blended Model Strategy powered by Dmitry Vladislav , what spread it and how it affects me as a trader is vital as part of my education and the ability to make money on volatility trading stocks.
First: congratulations and thank you so much for producing the video courses, the calculators and the books. I think it's only fair to say your work can be at least considered educational public service. I've being learning loads with you and I think your work deserves to be praised. Second: You insisted in the 0.5 D/E ratio as a rule of thumb; now you're saying that a D/E ratio 2.17 for a financial company is acceptable; you justify it by saying those ratios change from industry to industry. I get all that and I don't dispute any of it. But I do have questions, which derive from the fact that I ignore which ratio may be considered appropriate for different industries. Is there any book addressing that? How can I learn the specific reference D/E for different industries? Is there any website, book or article addressing that? Does any of this I'm saying make any sense? Many thanks, Raul

Basically, look at other companies in the same industry and get an idea of the industry average.
