As I stated before Nico tells you that you need to pay for shipping to get your expensive watch “$133” for UPS shipping he says. Then he gives you a link to where you can go and pay. Now, remember, when UPS, USPS, or Fed Ex takes your shipment they give you a “tracking number” so you can trace it on their website. This is free it cost nothing. I actually did pay the $133 for shipping to see what would happen. As expected, they informed me that I had to pay an ADDITIONAL $118 for a “tracking number”!!!! “It cannot be shipped without a tracking number.” They said. When I told them I was not interested anymore and to refund the $133, they said “NO REFUNDS!” Is anyone surprised yet? Then Nico comes back on the line and says, “Hey I didn’t take your money.” Then says the “tracking number fee” is “negotiable”, he even offers to pay $50 if I’ll give them an additional $68! I didn’t and neither should you ever send anyone, you don’t know, money on the internet. I’ve made a report to the State and Federal Attorney Generals office about this as Nico is not in the U.S. nor my state, it is both a federal and state crime. If the U.S. Attorney General goes forward with a prosecution, then the U.S. will contact the Irish government and seek extradition of Nico to the U.S.. Is Nico behind this scam? I hope not, but he is doing nothing to stop it, nor to warn his viewers. And he’s erased some of my warnings, so I fear, Nico may be behind this scam. The Nico you’ll talk with does speak with a distinctly foreign dialogue like Nico’s. We’ll see what happens. Crime pays, unfortunately. Your interview skills are improving but I think you missed some chances at some good follow-up lines of questions...I wish you would have followed up with how he actually got into watch repairing originally. He says he was fixing watches on the side while working in sales but you never really followed up with more on that like how did he learn how to fix watches, what got him into that originally. Secondly, when you ask him about the money and lifestyle and he says the margins are low and he isn't driving a Ferrari off of selling watches (implying it's due to his YT fame or something) you never followed up with more questions about the breakdown and how much other things like RUclips and collabs and sponsorships etc play into his business now... Cheers though for the interview, lots of interesting info about him.

You completely ruined the piece unique AP, because even when you showed it on camera, it was blurred. In an interview like this; you should not have behaved like a child asking the prices. Nico single handedly elevated Casio to "God Tier". Quite literally puts them up on the same level as Rolex. Nico deserves all the recognition and success for influencing a whole new generation of watch collectors.

But I am a very experienced watch collector of 30 years plus and he talks about the passion of rare pieces and not just the flex so he has my respect as a serious watch dealer. He has this audience too. I have met him at the London watch show and had a chat and he is very knowledgeable and come across as a passionate watch person. Total respect for this guy and he deserves what he has achieved. BTW. Great interview 👍

Nico is absolutely right about Rolex. My first luxury watch was Rolex. My first love in watches. There is nothing wrong with the product. But Rolex is like you first girlfriend.... you love it and learn to hate it!! He says the solution is like AP going boutique only, but I have been to AP and they too only sell to their preferred clients. No chance of getting one if you a new client. Even if ypu have purchased their watches previously at the ADs.
I love Nico, but chasing Rolex for $500 on a $30-$50k risk is insane. There's better profits buying from auctions on other brands. I know rolex is king of retail but the risk to reward outside very rare models is too high. He could make more profit on a Tudor for 300x less risk.
