The U7N looked great actually, it was around $1700; normal price
So, guess which one I chose? I chose the TV with the pro panel, the brighter panel with more nits,
upgraded sound system, and I could get to pay it off interest free over 4 year. Yep, the 65U8NAU

Ty steve. I have a question for you or anyone else that reads my comment. Do you think prices will be cheaper right before the super bowl or right after? Funny. I was looking at both tv's the other day. Looking at the specs, there were only a couple of differences that i noticed. I actually think the sound is better on the u7n despite less speakers. its sounds louder but more tinny on the u8n. I agree the picture looks brighter in some instances on the u8n in your video examples. I currently own a 12 yr old 50" Toshiba tv. Will definitely be upgrading in the next 2 months. Great content. I would like a PC Productivity review for the U8N 55". As evermore developers, designers, and content creators are using TVs as their main monitor. I would add side-by-side of IDEs (like visual studio code), the Godot Engine, and perhaps Adobe apps. Some text comparison to say a 32" 1080p and 4k monitors would be most helpful for that group, including gamers.

      55" U8n features up to 1800 nits & U7n 55" up to 1500
Considerably closer in brightness than 65 & up between the 2 models.
Both share the same High View Pro processor & many other spec similarities, making the value to performance choice between the 2 models a much narrower purchase call at the 55" size.
