I'd be more comfortable with this switch to a focus on Aldi Finds as long as you can assure me that you are still getting your McDonald's Diet Cokes when you are out and about and that Dan isn't sleeping under an interstate overpass due to his firing.

@@2centchick layout seems very similar from what I’ve seen so far , We have the middle aisle “ special buys” every Sunday and Thursday , Aldi have really upped there game of late and are way better than Lidl over here now ☺️.
I don't buy from the AOS very often but I do have to fight temptation there often. Then I ask myself, "Do I really need this?", Usually, the answer is no. And I've always been happy with what I have bought. I love your idea for Aldi Wednesdays. (Since you're not doing fast food reviews from your car anymore, can I have my wet-naps back? 😂)

I know you are going to mostly focus on the AOS but I'd love to see tasting of some of the seasonal food products and more comparing name brands to aldi brands.
Those mats work pretty good for wet/muddy paw prints. It soaks it right up. I have bought one of those mats one other time when Aldi had them.

@@2centchick I have two of them in my backyard shed. They work well for wet shoes.
Wish we had Aldi here. I have a similar floor mat and it works well for wet feet (which in the Seattle area is helpful!)
You could use the potato chips to make a casserole or breaded chicken

Thats a good price on the shower head. I bought a similar one (it could be the same, just "branded" differently) off amazon like 6 years ago, and while its not the most quality piece, it works well. Its a great price at $20, if i had an aldi near me, id pick one up as a backup, for when mine inevitably breaks. Grwat video, Cathy!

As promised, I did my research in Germany. The leggings and the rug are also advertised this week, but not the wall hook. We have a bit more sports offerings. Their Crane brand is also the same as here. Next week we have deals on home lighting and office organization. Prices are pretty similar.
A little fun fact, the people who wait outside the Aldi early in the morning to get a bargain are called Aldi-Campers here in Germany.

So do people wait outside a lot? Or just if there is a popular item? The only time I have seen Aldi-Campers here is when the wine advent calendars come out.
@@2centchick It depends. Usually you have always some people waiting, when they want to make sure that they get their desired item. But sometimes Aldi has some very popular things like garden furniture, TVs, or even tickets for a Sports- or Music event and then you can see a long queue early in front of the entrance.
As an example from last week, firework was of course very popular and sold out in minutes.
Love Aldi 🥰 when you made that comment “not sure if that’s a dog” I had to rewatch twice….🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It has paws but….HAHAHA

Loved your video! It was fun to "go shopping" with you. LOL I wish we could have seen the back of the bamboo wall mount - how is it mounted? How much weight do you think it can handle without falling off the wall? I loved the bamboo ladder for towels. Do you know how it can remain standing? I didn't see how it stands up without falling backwards or forward. I think my fave thing you showed me was your mini scissors. ADORABLE! hehe I think the leggings look really cute on you, even with them being longer. Great price too!

I love Aldi and their AOS.
I've never purchased clothing (shirts/pants/leggings) from that aisle as I like to try my clothing on as I struggle getting things to fit properly/comfortably on me. I know I could purchase something and return it, but I'd rather not do that.
I loved your taste test videos you did years ago with 'I'd never eat generic' and then they were surprised how good Aldi is. That got me to try a lot of their products.
I have bought a few skirts over the years. They were easy because I didn’t have to worry about the length. Glad you liked those videos. The stores brands are a lot better than they used to be for sure.

Nice review, I was not aware that one side of the isle was for current items and the other side was for last weeks items did not sell. For a woman who has a house and assuming for several years, you sure bought a lot of Knick Knacks. I would expect many of the purchases you made from someone who is just setting up a new home!!! I am a sucker for the "on clearance" items. I see on clearance I take a close look at the item and often times decide this could come in handy sometimes and buy it.🙂

They are pretty good! I have had thicker ones but I have also had thinner ones. You could definitely run them.

I haven’t had the chips go stale on me, but I find the plain chips to be much saltier than other brands. So we had them a few times and I won’t buy them anymore since I always find them too salty for my taste.
It’s been awhile seen I had them. I don’t remember them being too salty but I love salt. 🙂 Did you keep them in the bag or do you store them in another container?
I kept them in the bag with a tight chip clip, like the ones at ikea
I find Aldi chips salty too. But i like Aldis version of Pringles (Aldis calls them Stackers) more than regular Pringles because they taste fresher and...saltier!
Saw advertisement for a stationary bike but my Aldi didn't have any when I was there 😢
I’m pretty sure the bike was last week. It was good price, so I’m sure they went fast.
I think the quality of Aldi’s products is very high… their cookware is wonderful… the sizing on their clothing tends to run big…
Maybe you can compare some of their non food products, like paper towels, to national brands? Toilet paper, detergent, etc…,

I like videos showing what Aldi and Dollar Tree has. One small complaint. Can you slow the camera down and back up some. I watch on the tv and the quick close movements are hard to watch.

I saw a "Aldi hack" the other day that said if you forget your quarter you can use the back end (not sure what that is called) of a house key and stick that in the slot and it will unlock! Haven't tried it because I never go there. Google to the rescue...the "bow of the key". Where your key ring would go.
I have seen that too. Maybe I’ll have to give it a try.
You can buy or even make a "key" for the carts if you have or know a person with a 3d printer. Yes old keys work too, rounded ones that fit are better.
