This is an awesome version of Long Train...horns, bass, drummer singer etc are all on point. I love how their drummer can kick arse with the small set he's beating on. Awesome band!
Really, really good band. Very rare to hear this kind of tightness and musical control playing in a local bar band. Yup... this is a group of musicians who are total pros. Beyond well done, bravo.

Yesterday I began viewing covers of "Long Train Running" on YT so that I could play lead guitar over them. Tonight, I am still doing it. It's incredible how many bands on YT have done covers of this classic! I had to pause and comment on this one, though, the lead guitar blew me away, and the woman doing the vocals is drop- dead gorgeous! And she can sing!!
I absolutely loved this song since i was a kid...and these guys just brought it into the 2000s!!! wicked players...love how they put their own funky spin on it! Great job

@@heyokaikaggen6288 A person can like the original but still give kudos to someone doing a cover in a language that isn’t their own and doing a decent job. As a fellow musician I applaud their effort and talent.
A thumbs down to me indicates a lack of musical knowledge and just a general meanness of spirit.
I would like to view their video of the same song so I can judge them.
Maybe because there are better versions out there, like Milk'n Blues, incredible spot on Brazilian band. The vocals are not good with this band. Sorry.
@@user-J.R.StudiosCheck out Milk'& Blues, their version of Long Train running is incredible, they actually do justice to the Doobie original. This band are good musicians but the vocals/harmonies are weak.

This is a favourite - really enjoyed it !! This song shows off the guitars and there's a great vocalist there as well. There is more opportunity with this cover for the guitarists to show what they can do and it's great ! How about "what a fool believes", also by the doobie brothers ? "tiny dancer" or a similar number by Elton John; Dua Lipa cover ? Keep it up it's great !

Loved the guitar riff, cool, not so much the brass section, trumpet and sax should've been toned down 90%
I think the brass adds a lot, especially to this arrangement.
Decent performance. Horns okay, drums okay, percussion acceptable, guitar...solo great, need more in the rhythm mix, bass...I'm not feelin' it brother...drive it like ya stole it man!

Hated the vocals, good musicians, but just not nailed the cover, rythum was off.
Check out, Milk & Blues, who do an incredible version of "Long Train running". this band's ok, but the vocals are not good & harmonies weak.

The band is great, but the singer is not that level. First try to sing on the note and never do a 1 2 3 4. And ending with wooooo.... is really masking. Need a producer? Contact me.
