Honest Review:
- I love Cat's voice, the melody, lyrics, and the meaning behind it (I got to understand and get a better perspective and depth from this song) that it's not "only" for the Filipinos but globally as well.
2. BUT just "kind of" disappointing that this MV (only) shows her face, body, I never even once saw a flag only a representation of colors of the Philippine Flag (blue/red/yellow) time stamp: 2:15
3. Because of that, it felt like instead of being immersed with the depth od the song it became "kind of" distracting with the showing off of facial expressions and body movements only. I think there could have been better ways OR scenes added to support the "meaning" of Raise Your Flag.
4. Basically I believe Raising the Flag of your own nation Music Video styles should have a better approach somehow (more) than wind on your hair, flipping your hair, etc. I understand Cat's the singer so it's nice it focuses on her as well but it (may be unnecessary to do those kind of shots for the entire 4:19 Music Video Length)
PS: I even already lost count with how many times Catriona "raised" her hands to keep touching her hair while singing. Anyhow, thank you for this song. ♡
