Shit surprised me cause it’s janurary 2020 damn
Coaches whistling from the bench should be either a 2 minute unsportsmanlike penalty or a penalty shot depending on the situation.
Exactly, that shouldn’t even be in this video. It’s not smart, it’s cheap
Agreed. Playin dirty isn't "genius". Anyone can play dirty.
PugsNotDrugs4 Wasnt it Roy who whistled?
if you aint cheatin' you aint trying
Why'd that work? I don't watch alot of hockey

Lol
7:53 - Ben giving the thumbs up to Brown to let him know. Nice
Imagine saying Sam Darnold is a genius for conceding a safety in a game where his team was shutout on National Television.
He really wasn’t in the nfl, im pretty sure u practice kicking the ball out the endzone if it’s a fumble like that
@@apersoniguess7345 doesn't matter if you practice it or not. Does not change the fact that it's still smarter than just allowing them to get 6 points
I know I was confused like is Genius being used sarcastically here? 😂
Moneymaker i mean it’s something “smart” to practice, but a lot of the examples and smart plays in this video are *RARE OCCURRENCES* , it happens a lot so, i never batted an eye to it
Imagine lol
You guys should definitely do more videos with this format
“genius epstein plays”
technically true, since none of the players killed themselves
Epstein didn’t kill himself, he was murdered by Clinton associates
Don't youlove how the media said there was no way they could have happened and such an established prison because of all the security and that it was ridiculous that anyone thought that could happen.
and the very next day they start started telling us all the mistakes that were made and made it possible for him to be killed, such as the guards not checking on him for an hour, and there being no cellmate there to watch him either.
As always the news media has followed their main rule...
Report it first, make it accurate second.
Don't you find if funny that he was also buddy, buddy with tRump. Maybe tRump had him killed tRump had way more to lose then the Clintons do. My guess donald and bill teamed up and had him killed. He had way to much on these extremely rich and powerful perverted sick old bastards.
The one of the Bears punter knocking it out the back of the endzone vs Saints was just the other day...nice job keeping the footage fresh! Love the vid.
I agree. Also great job by the bears offense leading them to consecutive losses to 1. The saints without drew brees and 2. The freaking chargers.

As good/great as the plays themselves were, the best thing about this video was that every play wasn't repeated three times. Once was plenty, and it was a pleasure to watch. Well done.
There's a difference between someone doing something really super smart, and someone just capitalizing on someone else doing something super dumb. This is a mix of both.
6:47 is the best so far. smart play followed by incredible shot in off the goalie.

Westbrook wasn't for the field goal, was to ending game with kneeling
Most people dont understand how amazing that play was, Miles Sanders did the same thing with the cowboys. That’s the genius level intellect right there that teams need.
Idk bout amazing .. a touchdown put the game out of reach anyway but it would’ve been amazing if the touchdown kept it a 1 score game
Timothy Johnson it was amazing. Its a rivalry between teams but these players put it behind them just to win/finish the game
I was at this game.
I’m from Australia, what’s the logic of not scoring there when only four points up and two minutes to play? I guess they get to keep the ball for another four downs and wind down the clock, rather than score and kick it off to give the other team a chance to score? But scoring there would put them up 17-6 and Dallas would have to score twice in the final two minutes which seems highly unlikely. Help me my American friends!
The nhl coach whistling should get a delay of game for that
Crosby giving his teammate his hockey stick back at 6:50 is slick as hell! I don’t even watch hockey and i thought that was pretty bad ass.
Only worked bacuse the refs missed it. It's 2 mins in the box for that. (But yes, it was very bad ass)
Calle Söderberg Can you cite the rule? I know it’s illegal to prevent an opposing player from retrieving his stick, but helping your own teammate out ought to be legal.
@@kftc1980 scoutingtherefs.com/2015/11/10480/crosbys-stick-flip-impressive-but-illegal/
The description on the Brian Westbrook play is wrong. No kicker involved. Cowboys had no timeouts left, all the Eagles had to do was kneel on it 3 times and the game was over.
Thanks. I was scrolling through hoping to see someone explain. I couldn't figure out for the life of me why giving up a touchdown for a kick would be any more beneficial. Makes more sense they planned to run out the clock.
I still don't understand why he didn't run it in for a touchdown. And what "kick" are they talking about?
@@jeanpierre362 Kick was in the text by the editor of this video. Eagles didn't need the points since they were ahead already, and it'd be possible to score a touchdown, kick off, have them score, have them onside and score again. Knowing his opponent had no timeouts, he chose to get a first down, and kneel three times to run out the clock.
Amazing compilation

You missed Trent Alexander-Arnold and Divock Origi's Goal for Liverpool vs Barcelona in the Champions League, May 2019, Talk about a heads up play.
Defense not ready, expecting a little break in play while everyone prepares for the corner, and Alexander-Arnold takes a quick corner to Origi who sticks it in the back of the net.

Just a friendly tip: Make it more clear what is going on and have a slightly longer transition or maybe replay of some of the faster plays. I like these types of videos but that was tough to watch.
The first time I remember seeing somebody field the kick out of bounds to force the Illegal Procedure was Wes Welker back when he was with the Dolphins. I was so surprised by that move because I was unfamiliar with the rule. Really smart play.

The Lions did the fake spike a couple of times last season. Worked both times.
And what ever happened to the infield fly rule?
Infield fly rule doesn't apply to bunts.
Good video! 👍
Steven Adams is just such a wholesome player.. he (99% of the time, I’m sure there’s been moments where this isn’t true) doesn’t search for opportunities that could make him look good, and he never minds giving up a clear shot that he could make himself in favor of passing the ball to someone else who can put the team in a better position to win.. to me he just seems like a very selfless player and doesn’t play for money or fame, he plays because he loves the sport and does his best to make sure the team wins even if it means “sacrificing” himself for it
Ik that everyone knows nba refs are trash, but Beale took 5 steps there😂
OOB Toast uhh he took a dribble wth did u see lol
Ethan Robey Upon further review...ur right. His body blocked the view of the dribble and I didn’t bother to check lol
Im not really a hockey fan but Crosby flipping his teammates stick to him was awesome!
Blake Gallimore The push the stick to the teammate is pretty standard, but the flip takes it to another level.
What always gets overlooked in the Dan Marino fake spike TD is that day Mark Ingram caught all four of his TD passes. Mark Ingram also has one of the best catch and runs for a first down in SB history.

Did you call the final score to be 34-31 Ravens?
Another good one was the Giants' intentional 12 men penalty in Super Bowl XLVI during the Patriots' final drive, to take time off the clock and mess with Brady's momentum. So much so that it forced the NFL to change the rule all together.

6:23 ha! That coach would of been pissed. But great decision to get the call Jason Kidd.
Where is the Matt Stafford "clock it" moment?!!!
People hate the lions for no reason
#DetroitVsEverybody
In my opinion that wasn't that genius of a play. The ball was downed literally like 3 inches from the end zone. Was a good play, but really like a 99 percent chance the fake spike was all just for show and really not necessary nor what got him the td.
With that being said, I am a cowboys fan so my opinion doesn't really matter here lol.
@@commandershepard1838 I mean I hate them because they suck and unfortunately are my city's team. I gotta look at Stafford's fat face "umm umm umm" his way through every post game interview while being headed by an old lady who owns a terrible domestic car company, and a "Patriots' way" regime that's somehow made them LESS relevant.
Trust me, there are plenty of reasons to hate this team. I can't even repeat my yearly "at least we're not the Browns" mantra seeing as they've managed to squirt out more wins so far.
There should be a new one in here. Check out Matt Prater (Lions aFG kicker do a kick off against the Bears from Nov 28 2019 game. he drills the kick off right one of the Bears players at the front line, it bounces off him, and the Lions recover. It is clear that Prater was aiming at the guy. Never seen that done before. Brilliant.
Thats my punter! Sam Koch’s the best!
The last play seemed more like desperation than intelligence.
The Twins had a play a year or two ago when Eddie Rosario scored on a very shallow fly ball to center field. He saw that the player who caught the ball wasn't paying attention because they didn't expect him to make a run for home plate.
2:18 not the first time kobe took advantage of someone... Damn
There was a play several years ago, 2011 I think, where Bryan McCann of the Cowboys returned a punt 97 yards for a TD against the Lions because the Lions gunner tipped the ball back close to the goal line instead of downing it. Because a player from the kicking team touched the ball first, McCann could grab the ball and try to return it without any fear of losing possession.
This is unforgivable. They forgot the Magician. He who is the human highlight reel. Javier Biaz
Smartest play I ever saw, or at least one of the most important, was Chase Utley’s fake throw to first in Game 5 of the World Series. Faked out the runner at 3rd, who broke for home on Utley’s arm action, and got tagged at the plate by Ruiz from Utley’s throw.
That was the Ray’s last runner in the 2008 World Series in scoring position.
8:09 Travel Maybe?
you should do plays that gave players their nicknames
That hockey stick flip was amazing
Why not have a video of Ozzie Smith doing the pop-up trick; since he started the brilliant play?
That could be a great video if it wasn't edited so short. Give us a chance to see what happened. Maybe let it play longer to hear announcers talk through it.
I'm not a 49ers fan, but ravens got away with holding a niners player and refs looked away to ignore the penalty.
They held on purpose. The penalty doesnt extend the game, so it doesnt matter. That's game knowledge and exploiting the rules
@@KurseOSRS Yes it would have stupid.🤦the niner would've got the ball back right there idiot on i think it was turnover or on downs and stop the clock?🤦
@@KurseOSRS you bandwagon fans are fucking funny.
@@scottsullivan7582 lol... I'm a steelers fan, tell me more about how I bandwagon the ravens
There was one where Matt Stafford fake spiked and jumped over the d-line for a td.. I liked that one a lot.
So being heads up and alert is the definition of "Genius" level plays? Half of these are just knowing the BASIC RULES of the game!
RIP Kobe

Best plays in foot ball is when a ball is thrown slightly out of bounds player (can be offense or Defense, but usually Defense) Jumps in the air catchs the ball, and sends an assist to a team mate. A good example on RUclips is :
*Crazy Oklahoma State Interception vs. Oklahoma - November 27, 2010*
Yeah, that was a very heads-up play that Shaun Lewis made.
Maybe do a replay for each play cuz most of these idk what happened. Or make the actual clips longer so I can hear the commentator explain what happened

Sometimes we forget just how good Omar Visquel was , great shortstop.
Eric Day - Definitely. I could watch tape of him all day. Best defensive shortstop I’ve ever seen (maybe tied with Ozzie Smith). And the ultimate class act.
@@dukeon Absolute class act, and maybe a little better then Ozzie, obviously just my opinion.
How tf did Snell figure that one out?? GENIUS
There was this play in a 1997 baseball game. Florida Marlins vs Milwaukee Brewers.Livan Hernandez was pitching for Florida. There was an infield play and I don’t remember exactly what the first part of the play was, but the runner was called safe or something, and there was a runner on third. Then it looked like Livan was arguing the play with the third base umpire, and thinking it was a real argument, the runner on third broke for home. But Hernandez was really faking it, making the runner think it was real. Hernandez saw the runner run for home, then threw him out. This was reminiscent of a play where David Cone of the Mets argued with the umpire, and during this two Atlanta Braves scored
Those captions for the play have no chill
Disappointed I never see Brendan Ryan's infield triple, one of my favorite plays
Omar Vizcal was a genius player. I loved in Cleveland when he played.

R.I.P Kobe 🙏🐐
Who else when the saw the Jason Kidd one thought it was going to be when he had one of his own players hit him so they could get a timeout.
I'm sure there are others, but there's one (I think it's Saints - Rams) where the punt goes into the end-zone, but not out the back. It takes one of those backwards bounces and no one on the kicking team downs it. So the receiver grabs the ball and races for a touchdown. Even duped the TV crew.
The one where the kicker unstrapped his helmet before the TD
Westbrook didn't "trust his kicker more than his defense." He knelt at the 1 because the other team was out of timeouts. The clock ran down to the 2 minute warning after this play, then three kneel downs ended the game.
Not gonna mention the Pats vs Broncos in 03 when Belichick took an intentional safety lol.
So they praise a play for going out of bounds and coming in but ignore the giant travel
he didn't travel.
@@preston74 Not at the net , but as he puts the ball through the defenders legs he takes 4 steps , IE travel .
Actually I am incorrect , they changed the rule in 09 meaning stating those steps have to be outside of a dribble now . It used to be different
