Eren even admits that he forgot it.
Levi lost everyone he ever cared for. Mother died when he was a child. Kenny raised him and left Levi behind while Levi saw in him a father/mentor. Later Kenny died before his eyes. His friends were killed. His squad were killed. His commander who Levi trusted and admired most died. And still he goes on for Humanity. I think this is sad
