May 25th, 2024, MTA service changes were in effect including the E line which caused suspension for the day due to track maintenance. The original plan was to railfan the A, C, E, L and M lines but instead I decided to focus on the A line only riding from Inwood 207th Street to 88 St, Rockaway Blvd, Broad Channel and Chambers St.
MTA rolled out many of their R211As taking over and replacing the old R46 subway cars. In this video, not only you'll see a look around the R211A but there is also one R211A testing at Broad Channel showing a different line instead of the (A). Rather, the line that was shown on the train was the (D) line.
Later during the day, after catching more than 20 R211A trains, some MTA and Septa railfans + busfans asked me to catch some buses that are planned to be retired soon. One of the bus manufacturers I was told was named Orion and MTA had three types of these models remaining. I had to find the best spot where these buses would appear and it turns out Rockaway Blvd had seven lines which were Q7, Q11, Q21, Q41, QM15, Q52-SBS Q53-SBS Lines.
I hope that you'll enjoy this change of action as this video will include busfanning!
